I agree that I am known for starting very conflicting and unusual threads but to me this is very interesting when this board gets a little bored, here is the question for hobbyist and providers,How have you felt when you thought you had a good chemistry going on and all of a sudden for any reason that you don't know everything fell apart?

I can imagine what you mean happening. I have to say it's never happened to me, at least not after the first two or three minutes after first meeting. The feeling? Disappointment.

but the connection can get lost at the flip of a switch. Things can fall apart for too too many reasons to even try to begin to list here. The only common denominator is to always remember where you met, and that should help answer most of your questions.

Good luck to you Pleasure...

There are a million reasons why chemistry fades, here, and in the real world. But then, sometimes, without any explanation whatsoever, you wake up, and stop liking the other person. It always hurts. That's why it's good to have three or four atfs.

In fact, I'm sort of going through something similar. We had stellar chemistry, but one day she became unavailable without any explanation. That was two years ago. The chemistry was so good that she still writes. But she's always, inexplicably, still unavailable. Something happened in her real life. What it was is a mystery. I do miss her physical presence, and enjoy her letters. I'm lucky because I get to tell her that I wish her nothing but happiness.

Sometimes I know (Or think I do.) what's behind it, but often you never know.
I've had this happen about 6 times over the last 20 years or so, and it's never easy but time heals.

It's just part of the life we choose.

And to be honest, on a few occasions I just stopped seeing someone without ever stating why, so it's a two-way street

Never reached out to anyone.  I just shut it down!   The reason doesn't really matter.  I assume I am not the first or last.  I stop seeing people now that I am back for various reasons.  As of late  the only reason has been the expectations on their end being unreasonable.  Ex.  Man wants to spend multiple hours with me for less than my one hour rate. Shorts the envelope and thinks it's ok because we have chemistry and get along.  I get along famously with my eye doctor but I don't get free glasses. I guess it would be best summed up as boundary issues.  You repeatedly try to cross my boundaries and I will let you go

That should be the easiest DNS decision you will ever have to make.
Keep the line and prosper

You do it so you don't have to worry about all of the "chemistry," "feelings," and "disappointment" crap.

If it ever stops being fun, then you just jump back on to the TER local ads and you move on to another.

Pleasure7, based on some of your comments, I am not surprised this would happen sometimes with you. Maybe you're giving the wrong message (and this can happen on posts so I apologize if this is the case), but it sounds like you are all about you when you see a lady, and you want her to work her ass off, but some of us enjoy things a bit more when the pleasure goes both ways.  Also, most ladies like to be respected as a human being, and if that is not shown, expect the "chemistry" to suffer greatly.
