TER General Board

That has always been my interpretation as well.

Although I don't think it's the most logical practice to verify pics.

I guess it's the best thing for the provider to do if she wants to remain unidentifiable.

I don't like when a provider runs multiple ads with "representational photos" because the girl in the pics might look perfect to me(like her ass, weight, height ratio) fits my description of perfection.

The girl is usually cute, but I probably wouldn't have booked if I saw her actual image. The more ads she runs(patterns are usually easy to spot)the less likely I'm going to roll the dice on any of them, and will almost never repeat unless I really like what I see.

Yes, the first reviewer determines most of the information on a provider. Seems that some reviewers are drunker than most...

How can the photos be "accurate" but yet be "no" in the "real photo" category? Seeing this more and more often...

Duh?

Example: https://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/show.asp?id=293273

A check off menu would help and the first profile being set in stone is just dumb. A provider changes her menu at times, but the original profile has been established by some moron and that's it. New reviewers should be able to fix or update things, which should be confirmed by the provider before the changes take effect. This prevents the "Horrible Hobbyist" from saying the provider he just reviewed by gives rimming, just because he's a jerk and thinks it's funny. Incorrect profiles cause providers major problems. It's unnecessary. A smarter fix - Providers should be able to update their own profiles effortlessly.

Recently, I've been helping a newer provider (to TER) get her profile right. Her first reviewer checked "YMMV" for anal and rimming. She said she's NEVER offered those services and does not know why the guy did that, so she's stuck with them until someone at TER makes the changes. This shouldn't be. Providers should be able to set up their profile - Not the first reviewer. I've always asked the profile questions for the profiles I've set up AND it's just a silly way to do it.

only a provider should alter the profile...we are the one offering services and telling prospects other info...reviewer's is just to review the session that took place...any discrepancies should be in the review...for example, i offer bbbj, but i had a client request a cbj (first one in 25 years)...should he be able to change my profile because of it and then i have to get the hassle (even though relatively quick) to contact ter to change it back to bbbj?...of course not, i offer the bbbj and he should only mention it in the review itself

Of course not, which is why I specifically said the provider should confirm ALL profile changes.

I would only voluntarily wear a condom for a bj if I knew/thought I was infected with something.

To each their own. I just don't understand those guys, a buddy of mine tells me he makes this request to protect his wife. I think he's just a pussy in that respect.

I actually would LIKE to participate in bbfs with every woman I meet with, but I know that's not practical or safe, the desire is still there.

I remember someone on her swearing he caught "Chlamydia" from a BBBJ.

A provider does not fill in her own profile or at the very least be allowed to edit it if the shit is inaccurate. No other business I can think of allows the customer to determine services etc....and how many guys actually ask?

I could be wrong here, but I believe a TER profile doesn't exist until there's a review to post. TER is not autogenerating profiles off of other people's ads. And a provider CAN edit her profile, by filing a problem report.

Some hookers have had a fine old time getting shit they do not do removed from their profiles.

The picture could be "accurate", in that the provider looks much the same as the person shown in the photo.

But the photo could be fake in the sense that it is a stock photo, or stolen, and in any case not a photo of the actual provider.

Previously, some providers have justified this practice saying that it protects their identity while still giving prospective clients accurate information on what the provider will look like.

I'm not so sure I can cotton to this practice, but this has been brought out before

I've asked providers, is the photo of you? AND Is ithe photo how you look now? Someproviders use old photos, photo shopped photos and stolen photos. Word games are common, 100% Real Photo is a very common ad, but it never says it's a photo of the provider. The horny reader infers that it is, but is it? The old saying, " if it's too good to be true it probably isn't " is correct most of the time.

  Good point on subject

Fishbro is right.  Some providers don't want their face shown, but don't want to put out a blurred picture, either.  So their solution is to find a photo of a woman she thinks looks similar to her.  If the photo is similar enough in the reviewer's opinion, then the review will list the photo has "not real," but "accurate."

It is sort of an untamed Peeve for me. Has TER ever justified the first client's entry sticks?
I think the provider should set it. Then the clients can quibble with it in the review.

exactly what i have been trying to communicate
