END OF MESSAGE

I know that sites have been taken down, removed and such before but this is the first time that I have seen this message on one of them.

Does this concern you since most ladies that were on this site were also affiliated with other sites we use? Or is this nothing to be concerned with at all and just another site shut-down?

I was NOT on this particular site but was following a link there to contact a lady for verifies.

I am mainly asking those of you (Ladies and Hobbyists) that have been in this business a good long while and know what happens in this instances.

HERE IS WHAT IT SAYS WHEN YOU CLICK THEIR LINK JUST IN CASE IT CHANGES FROM THE TIME THAT I POST THIS MESSAGE.

SEE BELOW:

This domain name has been seized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), as the result of a joint investigation by the FBI and the Internal Revenue Service.

This domain name is subject to both civil and criminal forfeiture. This seizure is based on probable cause to believe that this domain name was involved in money laundering derived from racketeering based on prostitution in violation of state and federal law.

Property, including domain names, involved in violating Title 18, United States Code, Section 1957, is subject to civil and criminal forfeiture to the United States pursuant to Title 18, United States Code, Section 981(a)(1)(A) and Section 982(a)(1).

To report information about a crime to the FBI, please call 1-800-CALL-FBI.

I've never seen this sort of notice before in my many years with TER.

Another banned site, not the one from this week,

Was raided, seized and operated for almost a year until it was shut down. Some of the same charges were made. Money laundering, tax evasion, trafficking in minors.

The lesson for operator's of TER is don't do it here, not in the USA, don't tolerate even the hint of trafficking and pay your taxes.

Not paying taxes is only one way to attract attention.
Watch your financial transactions as close as anything else. If you appear to facilitate illegal activities you are on the radar, just read Fridays Sacramento Bee.

BP is surviving because they are a media outlet and are
somewhat responsive to trafficking. And Village Voice Media pays its taxes.

I still am concerned but I think that it is about return on investment for law enforcement agencies.
I do not see the feds coming after individuals unless they smell other corruption.
Have fun and be safe.

(as a provider) were actively advertising in that site, they would still have to bust you in the act of providing... which means your screening techniques might not be the best.

No worries here.

stay safe and happy,

I used to live in the San Francisco Bay area. SFRedbook was the best source for finding quality ladies. Their model was very much like TER, although advertising had the greatest emphasis. They had reviews as well as a number of discussion boards. From reading the newspaper account, it appears that the owner was also involved in criminal activities, i.e. money laundering. I hope that TER admin looks at this and is very careful and not expose themselves to FBI scrutiny.

The BIG difference is that TER is based outside of the U.S. whereas the Redbook owners were living and  operating in California.
