END OF MESSAGE

Thought I ask because I feel that people ask the same exact questions that are usually stated on the website itself. (Lol and yes it does become annoying)

So do you usually look at a provider's website?

Providers, how often do you update your site?

Repeated requests for the same info means the info is buried on the page somewhere. Use FAQs frequently asked questions and keep it short. Many providers write long info pieces that make it very difficult to read. I could go on, but I've seen some terrible provider web pages. Keep it short and simple. Use bullets and don't use fancy fonts or colors that are difficult to read.

I'm still looking for donations on some of the sites.   Lol.

I recall one gal put a line deep in the middle of her website that said:  If you tell me what this line is I'll take $50 off the price of your session.

She said that she rarely ended up doling the $50 out

I often barely skim through a lady's site, especially if I am booking her through her P411 ad.

BUT, i rarely have many questions except "are you available" that I haven't already found the answers to and if I do, THEN I read through her website to make sure the answer isn't already staring me in the face.

The problem is, some women's web sites are so wordy, i lose interest long before I get all the way through them. I am spending a few hundred bucks and an hour of my time with most ladies. I don't need to the same amount of research as I would in buying a new home.

and since Elle put her site up as an example, let me also point out that if a woman expects me to "apply for an appointment" as her site tends to hint at, I immediately lose interest and move on to the next hottie on my list. Aside from that, I will confess her site is pretty well done.

I suppose the plethora of ladies advertising on P411 has spoiled me. I can usually book an appointment with out much more effort than is required to order a pizza, so why should i spend hours reading every line of a dozen different women's web sites?

Sorry Fish, but I think the word you were looking for is "omniscient"

Where is that pedantic putz Conan when you need him?

And it's not that I know so much, it's that there is just not really that much I need to know before spending an hour with a lady. If she's hot, has decent reviews, doesn't have an overly restrictive menu, and doesn't appear to be BSC, at least not the bad kind of BSC, what else is there really I need to know before booking a session.

The way I look at it, as long as she's not a cop or a total rip off, what's the worst that can happen? I "might" at the worst be our a few hundred bucks and an hour of my time for a so so experience. That's why they have agencies and AMPs. If a session is a total bust, I can always stop at my favorite AMP on my way home, or at my favorite K girl Agency. It just simply isn't worth stressing over.

Along with a lot of $$$$!  Between making sure my photos are up to date and professional.  The cost of the site and hosting alone.  A website can be a huge investment.  After years of utilizing the free sites and having nothing but headaches I decided it was time to personalize and customize a site to represent me.  Over the past couple of years I have grown and so has my site and the personal words that I put into it.  I think my site is a reflection of the type of person I am.  Sometimes a rebirth, change or growth is needed to keep things fresh.

You are smart to have a pro do it. There is an art to web design and those "free" escort web sites really have me scratching my head. Why skimp on something important like your web page. The saying, "It takes money to make money." Is true.
BTW your website is really good!

Elle's website link after the read her post? I did.
Great site, beautiful woman, everything you need to know.

Looks good and easy to use.   Donations and services  easy to understand.   The smoke or wavy color over the writing makes it hard to read.   I would skip most of that mess.

...oh, you must have.

You should fire your plagiarizing copy writer.

I thought it looked familiar. Holly is a great writer. She would not be pleased to see the plagiarism

But yes it was written for me. I did not
Write that. I will edit it as soon as possible. At least more so that it is now.
Unfortunately I have no recourse as far as the writer is
Concerned. I don't think he is working as a writer any longer.

Thanks for the heads up, ironically this has happened to me Bofore, only the girl had stolen my photos.

Wrong.  This forum is full of stories about lazy shits who obviously didn't do their homework beforehand.

I always look at providers websites before I schedule time with them.  I usually check out their websites if I even think I am interested.  It helps me in planning on who I want to see next.

I can't say I read every word on the website but I do check it out.

if i see there is a way to make my site less cluttered and more succinct i'll do it! nothing is more distracting and tiresome on the eyes than a bunch of superfluous jargon

Often there's a web mail form and sometimes i'd rather ask them what part of town they're in  -- and sometimes more pix. And though you can get web sites for free, a simple homepage still lends a little credibility to the provider.

And links to BP, SB, etc, come and go..

research is mental foreplay, albeit alone.
As for an updated site, one would seemingly have to
visit it regularly to notice subtle changes. A banner saying
New Pics Jan 2016 (in Jan '16!) my draw some attentio

Once I see a girl I usually don't go back to her website. I figure any update will be passed along the way. Hope you are enjoying your holiday. Looking forward to seeing you when you get back.

...I would guess an escort's website is very effective at answering questions and therefore limiting the questions actually asked of the lady.  Your website info eliminates lots of calls from hobbyists that don't meet the guidelines you establish.  The website is a great client-qualifying tool.

Let's be honest, guys go to the pics first and then to the rates page, if there is an interest.  It's the natural progression to deciding to make contact.  But I certainly look at the rest of the site before making contact, and I bet most others do also.

The dumb, repetitive questions, at least from me, come from spur-of-the-moment contacts, which are brought on by sudden free time out of town or from a cancellation.  I can think of several instances over the last few years where an unexpected hobbying opportunity has led me to ask "do you do incall"?  "Are you available afternoons?"  "Do you take P411 OKs?"  These may annoy you, but at least you are being contacted.

Now, I tend to be analytical, so maybe others take a different approach...just remember, Rox, at least they are contacting you!

There is one provider whom I've yet to see that has a code word hidden on her page and you must put that word in on her booking form so that she has some assurance that you've read her page.

I thought that was brilliant, and a little fun, where's Waldo kinda fun.

Yes I read every providers page that I see, and her reviews. I'm very good at picking women in our world, and it's because I do so.

Without exception.

I personally read the site end to end to
1) Get a sense of compatibility - intro/about/services offered
2) To see if I am attracted - gallery
3) To determine if I can afford her - donations

I always look for the personal items - 'when I'm not doing this I like to...' run, ski, go to the gym, art, etc..

...and a great way to help build my anticipation for the date itself.

Always and in Detail.

I won't commit to anyone unless I've done my research and am already comfortable.  It almost always makes for a good fit that way.

Providers, how often do you update your site?

I joke that I screen for literacy, but really, I have the best time with those who value a connection (even though it's oft derided on this board), and I'm inclined to question whether we'll have that if it's obvious that a prospective date didn't read my website.  I'd rather miss out on quantity and increase the likelihood of meeting those I'll enjoy.  Also, if I know someone is genuinely looking forward to seeing me, I eagerly anticipate, too!

If someone asks a question that is on my website, I usually answer (I do realize the answers can get lost in the text) and then tactfully direct them to my website to learn more about me. Those who skip my website typically skip on providing references, too. A few follow-up and give me the info I need to feel comfortable scheduling time, but frequently they don't get back with me or continue with the "R U available 2nite" (still with no references) or something similar; at that point, I know they are wasting my time.

I do my website the old-fashioned way (with a text editor), so while the design isn't what I'd call lux (web design is NOT my field), I feel it's part of me.  Most of my updates are small; sometimes I change a word or two to better convey nuance/tone, fix an error that I missed when proofing, or I have a new FAQ/photo.

It seems like the chances of a great time are increased if a hobbyist does his/her research first, so I don't understand skipping the website, but then, I don't have a little head driving (notice lopaw always reads the website!!!).

A well done web site is often the "deal closer".

No website is often the "door closer".

Think about it... we can see your profile and reviews, we can see a short ad - but the only thing we can see of and by YOU is your site and perhaps some of your postings on the boards.

Yes, some guys won't give a damn about anything more than skimpy pics, menu items and donations; however, many of us want to have a better sense of you as a person (persona?) before we commit to book. The difference between those wanting a willing hole and those wanting a whole woman

i look at her web site, ads, reviews...

at how many guys ask those questions after filling out my screening page, which asks for a lot of personal information. They are giving me their employment information, before they even know if I'll do an hour incall....which I won't, and it says so on my site very clearly.

I can understand the spur of the moment type of issues, but if you are taking time to fill out the screening form, and are giving a lot of personal info, wouldn't you go ahead and read a little more first. Especially the part about whether or not you can afford me?

I read the websites - and a lot of them! - but I can't memorize the websites. An email is usually written with access to the website or reviews but a phone call or text is website-blind. Yeah, I've actually made appointments to see Providers who I mis-remembered thinking they were someone else. The dumb Qs at least establish safe contact and get the ball rolling.

A lot of newbies are very nervous and have trouble getting ANY words out of their mouths by voice (that was me, for sure). What to do? Ask something safe that you sort of remember is on her website but maybe you don't remember it exactly. No one ever answered my "Where are you located?" with a rude "It says UES on my website you fucking moron!"

It may be annoying to get those dumb Qs over and over, but maybe that's the info that should be more prominent on the webpages.  Even if you do modify webpages to reflect the dumb Qs, it will just change the pattern and not stop them completely

The only time I ignore someone is if they ask an offensive/rude question of me. Even then I don't fire back, they just go into the DNS file.

Read her reviews first. Then check out her website entirely. Then read her posts, if she participates on the boards. Hell, even if she lives across the country, and I have no chance of seeing her, I'll check out her website if her posts are interesting.

But you should also know, even though I screen thoroughly, sometimes I still can't get the feel of a lady. I need more information. I apologize, but I might ask a dumb question to gauge your response. Are you patient? Are you kind? Do you respond? Do you address the dumb question, without referring me to your website? If so, we're on. But it's rare that I can't feel her vibe way before that. By the way, you have a good vibe, and I haven't even read your reviews.

A website is just not necessary. Nor are crazy professional airbrushed photos, or ads in every mall in America here lol. I have found if you can present yourself in a fashion that represents who you are thru selfies that depict what you "really" look like, and "short" verbiage to give a guy an idea of the conceptuals of your mind ( if you actually wrote it vs paying someone to write it for you) the end product usually sells itself with lil effort. And if a product sells itself with lil effort, then I guess its working, so leave it be.

I book mainly through P411 now and a large percentage of the ladies there do not have websites. I have never found any correlation in regards to either looks or performance just because a woman has a "professional website"

I know a lot of guys are looking for "professional providers" but I am sorry, virtually all women innately have the skills to make a man feel good. I don't need or even want to know a woman's life history before meeting her. I am only interested in knowing her pics are real, she has a decent attitude and if she doesn't have endless rules to follow or hoops to jump through before meeting her, Everything else we can find out about each other after we meet in person.

A lot of flowery prose, especially written by someone else, tells me ZERO about the woman I am going to meet

I actually found p411 not to be necessary as well (if at all). I'd say less than 5% of my dates were set up thru that site at the end of the day. Most of my dates (on the average) were from very UTR guys who want nothing to do with sites like that and are simply lurkers on most public sites (such as this one). Works for me.

IMO, you only need 1 ad. A few real photos. A "presence" of some kind (or voice if you will). And the ability to communicate...clearly. This business isn't rocket science that's for sure and is straight out of Biz 101.

From one G to another....happy to agreeing Mr. G.

Btw, where is Panthera anyway...a lion didn't gobble him up, did it? lol ;) (I do hope he pops in soon, I'm not one for being very patient in this regard lol)

Also I do know that some guys to not continue to check my website especially after they have seen me which is why newsletters are perfect.  Two words  "communication and presentation" it goes along way not only in the hobby but in life period.

Plenty of people are looking at our websites, the ones that actually book are booking for a reason. If someone's online presentation truly didn't show them in the proper light i'm sure bookings would decrease. I feel like most hobbyist do check websites if the provider has one but sometimes it's so much information to take  in they end up asking questions that are posted right there on the website. I  will say most people I come in contact with have done their research and when research is done it equals a successful encounter for both parties.
