I've always loved my birthday.... The traditional monumental ones never bothered me.

This one is a tad different..... Not that I don't love it just the same... I do....
But, tis my first birthday after starting Hobbying for the very first time.

If I could turn the clock back for maybe one thing, it may be that I waited so long in life to discover The Hobby.
I've adore it.
The freedom....
The casualness....
The ease of what transpires....
How I've discovered peeps of the opposite sex who adore what happens...
How just 3 or so, out of 40 or more I've had the pleasure of meeting, have moved forward and become such meaningful friends.
And how this can be a way to find wonderful people of the opposite sex who understand me (us) better than we can expect from a next door neighbor, family member, co-worker, etc; and vice versa.

I think the reason a couple of us bond so well as both "business partners" and "great friends" is the ability to let our hair down to the nth degree and be more honest amongst ourselves than we can be with traditional friends who don't share the sexual freedom we all adore.

The feeling that this Hobby can be very special is not for everyone. I regret readings of so many who think "dollars" is the one and only motive of the womanhood in this hobby. I think of us quite often when dealing with the top vips that we guys may give up some bar money, and they, the vips gain some additional to help them in whatever, but that both sides enjoy the outcome first and foremost, and realize we could be doing something different if we wished.

Enjoy whatever it is you get out of this. For me, it's extra special and that works perfectly fine for this aging gent.
