So then, instead of chewing off a corner of a viagra or whichever, it might make more sense to use a ring to keep it up.  I've heard, actually on this board, that while a pill can keep the lumber up it can also deaden sensation.  Who wants that?

If you suffer from ED due to any of several medical conditions they can help you maintain an erection. You still have to be able to achieve one without the ring but once you are hard they help by compressing the large blood vessels on the underside of the penis and trap blood inside. Once you ejaculate the penis will go soft on it's own and the ring will come off easily.

Ok to further clarify. Some men have problems maintaining an erection due to medications they take for various illnesses or conditions. No matter how passionate the kisses or other things that would normally excite anyone not suffering from this problem they just can't stay hard. As for when it's put on is up to the players involved. Some guys put it on before getting an erection and others after. It depends on individual preference. Also depends on the type used.

Some are made of metal and some are made of rubber or latex or other stretchy materials. If it's a stretch material you can put it on or take it off any time. Metal ones are a bit more tricky.

Cock-rings?

I have lived 32 years on Earth without seeing one...
Now in my 33rd year, I have seen not one not two but THREE cock rings this year!

What gives?

(side note & funny story)

My mom works on a port-dock for a very large cruise ship, her duty is to check passports, ID's, and luggage.
She said they ran a bag through the x-ray machine. Inside was an unknown object, so she ruffles through the bags and takes it out.
A large metal ring.
She holds it up (mind you without gloves on) and looks the fellow in the eye, and asks, "Sir, what exactly is this?" And she said he turned beet-red, and under his breath spat out,
"It's PERSONAL."
And she said she instantly knew & dropped it! She said she got him out of there QUICK!

I said, "Mama, I guess that'll teach you to wear your gloves!"

:D

I guess even mama didn't know, eh? LOL

:D

Some guys think they will keep them harder and then there are those who just like the look. I'll pass on the ring myself. Back when I was married my wedding ring would get stuck on my finger and it was painful to get off. Cock ring... No thanks!

they help guys who have a hard time staying hard, and also those who come too quickly.

They really do work pretty well, and they are safer than pharmaceuticals as there are no side effects.

Come to think of it whenever I use condoms like Durex, which tend to choke the life out of even this "little dicked Asian" I do notice it's almost impossible for me to cum. I suppose for guys that lose it early, this would be a "good thing" for them. For me, not so much. I have a hard enough time cumming in a condom of any kind so a cock ring is that last thing I would ever want or need.

And I have also suggested them to friends. I have seen some comfy gel looking ones with a built in vibrator
I have seen the benefits of cock rings, all with no discomfort or issues. They help maintain erections which lead to orgasms.
I think I might buy a few and have them for friends. Of course once they use it, it's theirs

Even though I don't need one to keep an erection, I've found that it will hold more blood in my penis, making it harder, fuller and more sensitive, while helping to prevent a premature ejaculation. And when I do cum, it feels and looks like a cum volcano! LOL!

I've tried several different types of cock rings. Metal ones are hard to put on when hard, but look awsome, especially in some of the multi-colored alloys, but they can be uncomfortable to put on and take off. Rubber ones are more comfortable, but can give you an indian burn or pull hair when applying or removing. My favorite is a regular, over the counter, ouchless hair tie. If you want more pressure, you can double it, and if you want to get kinky or play bdsm games, you can wrap them around the balls too.

So then, instead of chewing off a corner of a viagra or whichever, it might make more sense to use a ring to keep it up.  I've heard, actually on this board, that while a pill can keep the lumber up it can also deaden sensation.  Who wants that?

As others have said, there are valid reasons for some men to use them, but I find that a good, long passionate kiss from a lady (with lots of tongue) is all I need to keep things up and running.
