Interesting that the bank who owns my credit card refused to pay ccbill or the other payment service. I wonder if the new fed restrictions on banks doing business with questionable businesses have already started.
with Wells Fargo. I called them during work hours and told them that my CC had been refused by them on a transaction I was trying to make. They transferred me to that department and I talked to a lady who understood the problem and said that it was their policy to block overseas charges against the card. I told her that it was a legit charge and I wanted it to go through. She said OK, I tried it again with her on the phone and it went through, she said that she saw it clear.
So they will work with you on it, you just have to talk to the right people.
That's crazy that you can't do overseas transactions automatically.
