If the lady starts out with a kiss right off the bat then I know right away it could be great. It doesn't matter if its DFK but if it is then thats awesome but LFK heats it up. A nice close hug is always good indication that its going to get hotter later.

I've had a couple of girls when I believe that "click" was not their. Since then I have been wondering if I do go back to see one of the this time, how would it be? The desire is their to always see them again...Whether I do or don't is just a matter of time, I guess.

the lady in question has intelligence, opinions, and a sense of humor. I need to get a feel for her personality through correspondance beforehand. I'm not talking about taking up a lot of her time, just an email or two, or perhaps a phone call to get a read on what she's like. In order for me to click, there has to be a certain spark there somewhere.

Now, you really can't tell until you finally get together. Overall, I've had good experiences since joining TER, but I've REALLY CLICKED with only two women. In the first case, she was just really comfortable with herself, her sexuality, and her profession. We have similar interests, outlooks, and demeanors. She's just a lot of fun to be around.

In the second case, it was immediate from my standpoint. I didn't know I had a similar effect on her until I saw her again. The first thing out of her mouth was, "I was hoping to see you again, you were a lot of fun!!" It was a longer date and over dinner, hanging out, etc. we realized we had A LOT in common. It's really strange, but it's like we knew each other in a previous life. The date went _way_ over and she ended up falling asleep in my arms. I had the distinct pleasure of watching her sleep. At one point she stirred and I asked her if she needed me to leave. She just looked at me through half-closed bedroom eyes and said "you're not going anywhere." Fine by me. Needless to say, she's my ATF. She's also a real close friend.

So, I'd say that "clicking" occurs when there is common ground as well as an intellectual, physical, and (perhaps) emotional connection.

...eye contact. You can see it it their eyes. You cannot fake it. it is virtually impossible for me to click the first time I meet someone for the first time.

You can tell if the lady is just going through the motions,doesn't matter what they say. Afterwards I feel kind of sad if the session winds up this way, However, if you are of a selfish temperment(a taker) it probably would not matter.

I can count on one hand the times I've come close to clicking with anyone. Maybe one in ten visits over the years?
