My guess, as a marketing genius (just ask all the companies who have fired me :)  ;)

1) Chicago is an attractive spot for visiting girls since the rates the indy girls charge here average 100+ more per hour than other major metro areas (except new york).  So the market is getting saturated... when agency girls charge 300 for incall and are paying for travel fees and giving 75 off the top to the agencies, you can see  how the 200-250/hr "specials" run arent that appealing to many clients.

2) Its after the holidays and everyone is broke, worried about their job status and the future

3)Maybe everyone is getting all the wild sex they want from their wives lol ( see why I got fired?)

It'll pick up again- dont lose faith!

Chicago is $100 more plus per hour than other major metro areas?  Who are you seeing?  $250-300 is pretty average all over.
75% to agencies?  Wow, sign me up to own an agency...obviously, you have no idea of what you are talking about.  Splits are different but generally run 50-50 or 60-40.
This city is one of the least attractive to traveling girls and many will never visit here at all.  Read the general discussion board and you will see that.
Sorry...but you really have the typical mentality of life is all roses for the agencies and the girls...NOT!

Whoah...why all the hostility?  I got my info from searching the rates on Ter, Escort America, and BigDoggie Net for all the cities... and it came out to be about $76 higher...and also from an Atlanta friend who is an escort.  She agreed with you that Chicago sucked, by the way, but for the same reason New York did-  cancelled appts and LE activity.

I never said you ladies were not Worth 350-500 an hour... worth has got nothing to do with it.  I tried to look at it from a marketing perspective.

If I said 75 % thats a typo-  50-75 bucks for the agency and that was from a couple agencies themselves... so if all the ones around here charge less, then forgive me.

I don'y think its fair to judge me and my mentality (many say I have no mentality whatsoever :)  ;)-  I think the job is a very difficult and giving profession.  I was trying to come up with a couple reasons it may be a bit slower now.  I said things would change and pick up again soon.

I don't say from your post you have a "typical client hating " mentality.  Just maybe took it wrong or were having a bad day with the crappy Chicago clients:)  Lighten up a bit!

Think we "get it" now why you misquote:  you "read" what you think is there and not what is actually said.  For example, did we say the worth is $350-500 anywhere?  No.  Did we say "typical client 'hating'" as a quote?  No, the word "hating" was NEVER used.  And we write with "hostility" to you?  Where in the heck did you get that?  We weren't being hostile to you, but just quoting facts.  
Either you read too quickly and don't understand what you read or you project what you really feel we are saying in your posts--which is what we suspect.
And where did you get we were "judging you?"  Again, we are simply stating facts.
Read the posts slower as it might help.  You misinterpret alot which must get you in alot of trouble in real life.
And, since you are probably a really nice guy, you will give off the wrong impression to others.

agencies here take 40-50% of the final deal.  I probibly would have stayed agency if 75$ was all they took, but then I wouldnt be an indy now because of all the hassle with verifications.
