END OF MESSAGE

Tomorrow we will remember and honor those who have died to preserve our freedom.

As the daughter of a WWII veteran, I say: shake the hand of any serviceman or servicewoman you meet. They do a thankless job.

Let's thank them.

Tabu

For remembering what this holiday is really about.

Don't say "Happy Memorial Day", say "Honor Memorial Day", Thank you Tabu for reminding us to   Honor the ones still with us, and to remember those who did not come home:(( I am in awe of my son who has come through 4 years of combat mentally and physically intact and who continues to serve. I had no idea that that timid lil blonde-headed boy would turn out to be the man he has become! I cried in relief, IN PRIVATE, each time he came home---could not let my "baby boy" see his tuff ole man do that, as that might worry him--LOL

Today is the day set aside to remember those that gave up thier dreams in order that we have liberty and can then reach for our dreams.

Such a honor to give thanks and praise to all that serve!!!

I did some reflecting myself on the service our vets have given to keep us safe. In the River Walk area in Wilmington there are several places that honor those that have served and sacrificed in the military.

And it won't be too long before we no longer have those WWII vets here anymore.

xoxo,

Steph
