Rhut Rho! LOL!

Steph

I guess I appreciate NC a tad more when I get back home.

There are places I absolutely LOVE to visit, places I thought 2 years ago I'd never see again. and I'm planning on visiting another one I haven't visited since Oct 2011 soon.

Anyone get that that ahhhh feeling when they get back to the Carolinas when you travel? It can't just be me...

xoxo,

Steph

case of WANTING to get back out & travel to see clients and I can't for another 2 months or so because of my leg and knee !!! It really makes you appreciate your "mobility" !!!

Safe Travels Steph !!

I think that it's common among people who have lived in one place...home... for several years and appreciate it more when they leave it for a period of time. I notice it when I've been away for a couple weeks, then return to where I know where everything is and where I can relax and enjoy 'home'.
Welcome home.

what you mean.

I just spent 6 days in NYC that felt like 6 years. I could hardly wait to get back to my beautiful new home.

Coming back home after traveling is like a Big Sigh of relief, but not just getting back to N.C Its when I walk through my door into my humble home!
So Steph where did ya go anyway? I read somewhere you were going on a trip. Any awesome stories??

while I don't live here, it sure has been nice to feel the summer weather. (To a Chicagoan, at least!)

I'm so tempted to move back here, just because of the sun and pools lol. Perfect climate here for me. :D

xo,

Damn what happened to the high 70s-low 80s?

BTW when my plane touched down in Boston Wednesday night at 9:10pm...it was WINDY, RAINING, AND 36 DEGREES! Bostonians were  rejoicing when it made it up to 60 while I was there!

Where are the high 70s-low 80, I can't FIND them, lol?

Enjoy being back in NC!

xoxo,

Steph

I too get that ahhh feeling.
(Trust me, cause when I am gone, all hell breaks loose around my place no matter who is left in charge! LOL) Guess noone can hold the fort down (here) like I can!

It is sooo nice to come back home...
We all know that feeling...
(Take it from a girl born n bred in Kansas, this phrase always hits my heart.)

you spend 6 months on the Mediterranean Sea and the only times you enter a port it's a third world country where even the simple pleasures of minor things like toilet paper are damn near nonexistent. Then when you get back to "the world" you realize just how much you missed everything that means HOME. That is a freaking AHHHH that has no comparison.

I hope you had a good trip.
I'm always glad to hit North Carolina again and seeing the mountains always lifts my heart.
