Hopefully, this will illicit a few responses from our lovely ladies...
Even though I am whitelisted on TER by several ladies, I still run into problems occasionally passing screening.  Here are a few problems I run into.

1.  Must provide more than 2 references.
2.  Reference must have seen you recently (within 6 months)
3. Reference must be from a well-established lady.  (What defines a well-established lady?)
4.  Being Whitelisted isn't sufficient.
5.  Must provide social media profile (OK. This is a deal-breaker for me, but some ladies require it).
6.  Reference did not respond back in timely manner.

I'm sure there are more, but these are the most common hurdles that tend to break a date for me.  I know it's frustrating for everyone.  I make a mental note of ladies that have provided a reference for me.  Some do..A lot don't.

The ladies with several alternative means of screening along with a fast approval process are gems in my book

you should use your real handle.  You say you are whitelisted.  How do they know that?

Most ladies that you are a regular with will provide a reference.  (Always ask first, and never give their name out without their permission.)  They like to keep their regular customers happy.  If your hobby style is hit and run, what incentive do they have to give you a reference after only seeing you once?

Sir you pose quite the dilemma for Newbie Hobbyists and Providers,
as well as for some well-established.
I have equally encountered this numerous times as I'm sure others
have at some point.
However, unfortunately I decline more Hobbyists, than I
companion with.   I choose and adore being a Companion!
With that being said, I am truly "low-volume", because
fortunately I value my safety over everything!
One can't pay one's bills from "six feet under"!

Unfortunately, lower-volume is due to several of the reasons
you listed:  "a lack of the number of required recent references whom
actually respond to referral requests in a timely manner."
But I digress.....
In order to expedite this for yourself  "6-pack_abs", I suggest you
politely email or pm said referral Provider, and indicate that
"so & so" will be contacting for a reference, and "would you mind
responding to them asap?"
Even though I am "referral friendly", this is a gesture I always appreciate,
especially when the Provider is from out of the San Diego area.

A "Whitelist" is a beautiful thing, if it actually effectively gleans the
necessary information to approve a Hobbyist.
{However, again, me being ultra-cautious, I even double-check with
the Whitelisted referrals, if they are not someone known to myself}.

With regards to the "Whitelisting", perhaps it is the level of
my non-vip membership TER status?
However, when searching by your handle under "Reviewer's  Whitelistings",
it displays only one whitelisted Provider for you.
Perhaps you should check with TER, to authenticate this finding, or the lack
thereof with regards to your comment  "I am whitelisted on TER by several ladies".

Herein lies the ultimate response from most Hobbyists and from your final comment;
"The ladies with several alternative means of screening along with a fast approval process are gems in my book."
I will second that, gems indeed! ;)
So perhaps I'm again asking for your advice in return Sir, aka "6-pack_abs",
Are you listed on P411 or other verification sites?
For myself, why I've not used P411, or other referral sites?

When initially checking into them, I was highly put off by
the very thing you indicated in your OP, 6-pack_abs,
regarding "real information requested by the Provider"  i.e.:
Facebook, Linked-In, Twitter, "Your first born" and a fingerprint {pun intended}.

Even though my secondary livelihood depends on my ability to verify
references, I would never compromise myself with revealing my true identity
to ANY agency, or verification site ever!
If one does a little research in other forums
on some of the many sites, one will discover that this necessity to become a "member"
requires too much personal information in order to authenticate.
Several even require a picture of your driver license.
I for one, sense that this is just another "Ashley Madison" scandal waiting to happen!
 {no disrespect to "Ashley Madison, P411, or anyone whom avidly uses them}

Forgive me for such a winded response, however, I hope some of this assists
you in your verification process, which shall lead to "happy hobbying"!
Warmest, XO
Angelina Jones

You can't pay your bills from six feet under, only six inches under.

@Coeur-de-lion, lol, you could certainly start a new thread on
"only six inches under".   This board could definitely use some
levity!  {Although we all know it's not the size
of the yacht, but the motion of the ocean!}
So in an effort to not "capsize" the original thread by
"6-pack_abs" I will use his quote:
" Hopefully, this will illicit a few responses from our lovely ladies... "

My 2 cents on this topic is that if more of the providers were to cooperate with one another, verification of a gent would be very simple in many cases.  I am always more that willing to respond very quickly to other providers when they are looking for a reference on a gent.  It seems to me to be a very easy courtesy- to both the provider and to the gent.  That gent has been kind enough to see me in the past, and pay for a service.  Why in the world wouldn't I extend the courtesy of giving him a reference?

As far as for another provider- I like to know that I am safe. Why not give her the opportunity to know she is going to be safe? I always believe in "doing unto others".

I have heard that some of the ladies believe that if they don't give the reference they will then keep that client"close to the vest" and he will see them more  PLEASE!  Let's get real here! The gent who wants to see me repeatedly, is going to do that.  The gent who wants variety every time he hobbies is going wherever he damned well pleases, whether I give that reference or not!

And while I"m spouting-  I get so angry when a gent tells me that providers won't "whitelist" them unless they have given her a review.  Again- PLEASE!  Holding a gent hostage for a review?  Really?  The whitelist tells others that this gent is safe.  If he is safe- for the love of God, just state so.  If he is kind enough to take the time to review you, God bless him!

Just my opinion on the whole thing.  If everyone would work together it would be easier for everyone.

I know this doesn't address newbies or those with few references- that's a whole other topic.

HAHA..

Just noticed that...  OK, I got into college on a sports scholarship!

I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out. Sports scholarship? A dumb jock would have never noticed the error.

No, that was not a statement about all jocks being dumb. Most? hahaha. Just funnin guys.

Re: They're their...Wouldn't the proper usage be "there there"?
And everything will be alright? lol
@Incallman2 { Heck, what do I know?  I went to college on a Music scholarship,
ending up with a graduate degree in another field}
And I'm just "funnin' " you too!  ;)   There there now...isn't the very kind, and fun
repartee, so much more informative than the boards' antics of past?

Thank you by the way for your kind reply Sir.
Coming from a highly knowledgeable and oft-participating board Hobbyist,
such as yourself, @Incallman2,
I take your compliment with high regard!

Angelina, I thank you, too. I also thank you for your thoughtful post above and your willingness to share your perspective. This board really needs more participation from both sides of the aisle.

Did everyone go to school on scholarships but me? I had to pay my way on the GI Bill. I guess that's why I'm so stoopid. At least that's what Average Joe, Anita little, and whole truth call me. hahaha!

take their jock status seriously.  Others, like me, like to joke about it.  In fact, right now I'm wearing my jocular shorts.

CDL, you have the capacity to crack me up more than most on this site. Keep it up. We need more humor.

Speaking of crack ups .... Confucius say ..."Woman who fly upside down have hairy crack up!"

she shaves it smooth, she can fly with me anytime.

Ask one of the ladies you seen who's a member, have them send you a Date-Check or P411 invite... Easily to verify you, simple to keep up, and the provider won't have your personal social media info unless you wish it to be so.

Several ladies that I know, will not use Whitelist as you said, however that is a matter of their personal choice. They still use RS2K, Date-Check and P411. Even if it does limit themselves, which it is to easy to contact a lady from the Whitelist and Verify info. Still, those other screening sites are pretty easy to use.

I was just suggesting that to someone the other day who got all offended about it, which is has nothing to do with being offended, some ladies just prefer different resources to use, and why not use as many as possible and expand the range for yourself. To me it makes perfect sense.

This is good advice. If you frequently partake in this hobby, you need to maintain a presence on multiple sites. You can't solely rely on TER. Some providers just aren't active on TER, and don't want to bother with its whitelists.

Being on multiple sites also allows you to cross-check information on a provider you aren't familiar with, and it allows them to cross-check info on you.
