These storms are pretty brutal. Got woke up this morning thinking the world was exploding! Very loud Thunder, Lightning and some reports of Tornadoes. Hope everyone is safe and sound!!

I hate this time of year because of these tornadoes.
Working my way to build my dream home in about 15 years from now and it will have a storm shelter underground, and of course the ultimate play room (use your imagination on that), bar, and pool.
Nothing crazy, just a small little brick home that's ALL MINE and not one of those cheap built spec homes!
Saw a house on TV where the interior master bath was a storm shelter. You absolutely could not tell until the owner revealed the steel sliding door and it's latch. It had saved his family already, only added about 5K at construction time. Everyone be safe please
is it just me or has weather really changed dramatically over the last 10 years? Each year it also seems to get more & more tornadoes,floods etc...
I was watching the news the other day & to my surprise we're rated #2 in the most lightning strikes & deaths, they also said most deaths by tornadoes occur at night when most people are sleeping. Its just so scary when you think of how helpless we really are.

is always among the highest in tornados and lightening strikes. The tornados just usually are not as large. We just barely missed having the national severe storm lab here. The sheer size kills out west, here it is the rolling terrain, lets the storm sneak up on us. Lets all keep each other safe by being weather aware. Wishing everyone a safe and prosperous week and end.
