I think this is in line with the post from a provider a couple of months ago about getting clients to write reviews. Not that I am speaking for providers, but I have HEARD that there is a bit of jealously involved. It's really human nature as well, I don't think a provider is as willing to send you to someone else who you may like better and not see the original provider anymore when they can keep you to themselves so to speak, more geared toward non traveling providers. Also, there are alliances within this world and said provider may have a girl or two that she works well with and chooses to break bread with. Also, if you're searching for your next girl, I suggest research, research and more research. Idk if you have a specific type or look, or if you travel etc, but there are always new ads popping up, read reviews, compare and select.
Just my thoughts.

I have no problem telling someone who I don't know that yes Peggy threw a hell of a session thru private PM. I would definitely recommend her. Why doesn't this go both ways. One of my reviews and the girl will vouch for it got her 5 dates based off what I wrote on her review. Yet she had no clue who I should see next when I asked for a recommendation. When I asked who she did doubles with she said she never did a double and didn't know anyone in the business. How do you decide who you want to see when no one recommends anyone to you? My next three dates were picked by me based off responses written by ladies who are on these boards.
How else do you find you next provider
Obviously there's a way on TER to search by physical appearance, performance and services offered..but even when you find your dream girl through a calculated search..it must be hard to take the plunge. All you have to go on are what other people say about her..and even then you can only hope that you have the same experience. Guys have been more than kind in reviewing me and it makes me nervous that not everyone will feel the way they do. When you find a girl u like..try PMing some of the guys that have reviewed her..maybe they'll help u out.
Read reviews, look at her photos and decide who you are attracted to and want to see. Like a car you look til you find what you like.

I have done best and have the most fun in "the hunt"
Most of the time that's really good and I've only been screwed by recommendations once. Most providers know it's their word and future repeat business on the line so they don't recommend somebody unless they know she's good. In other words, fuck me over by sending me a dud and you're on my DNS list
The few times that providers have recommended their friends to me, it was more an attempt on their part to get work for their friend rather than to find me a good match. Perhaps they meant well, but I am much better at finding my own dates. And since I am a rather unique hobbyist, several other hobbyists from my area have been very generous in PMing me recommendations of providers that they know who love women and are physically my type. God bless those guys

I think a provider is responsible for giving a great session and a good reference (if the hobbyist is deserving).
But a provider should not be required to have good recommendations.

You should also run a escort agency, or at the very least have a minimum of ten provider friends whom you can recommend at any given time.
Guys, some who are interested and participate in p4p can be quite dumb at times. Many of the guys I talk to about, will often ask if I can be there reference? Obviously they haven't gave it a second's thought about what they are asking. I don't even take the time trying to explain it to them.

was going to find out he was seeing other providers. Today someone is bummed out because his atf won't refer him to other providers.
as she's done several times over the years, I almost always see them and when I do I've had great times. My ATF knows what I like and has excellent taste in women (she's "really bi"). In fact several of her recommendations eventually turned into doubles with her. So there may have been some self-interest behind those recommendations. 
Otherwise I use the usual route of research. But if my ATF or one of my other favs posts something on the boards about how great a specific provider is, that will influence my decision.
if like me in a smaller market it's very very hit and miss. My regular girl left the area in August and other than trips away to my atf, I've been kissing a lot of frogs and not one yet has turned into a princess.

a "Links" or "Friends" page. I have several friends' banners on my site and wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of them. I have also garnered some of my favorite loves from my banner on my friends' sites. Some ladies think that they're giving away money by featuring other ladies' banners on their sites, but for myself and those with whom I exchange banners, that's not the case at all. Just the opposite! It creates a nice, safe network. A guy knows that if he likes me and my values as a provider, my friends will be of a similar ilk. The good thing is that this also presents a wide variety of choices for them, too.
