When even pharmaceutical Companies think it is appropriate and funny for the wife to just shut her husband down.  How many wives drive there man into seeing escorts by acting like this commercial? Rant over. Thank you ladies for helping us shut down husbands out :-)

... the first time I saw this commercial.  Interesting what some ad exec's think is funny or likely to get a consumer's attention.  They got a lot of male attention I suppose - wonder if they will get many sales from those same guys.  

I tend to watch for commercials that are put-downs of older white guys - and I don't buy their products.  Women had the same issues in the ads from the 1950's and 1960's - lots of them made women look stupid until someone pointed out they were insulting the very consumers they were trying to market to

I worked with a biker dude that an experience like the commercial. After being shut down one night he got up, got dressed and started out. When she asked where he was going he said he told her "you control when you get dick but not when I get pussy". Now I don't suggest that level of disrespect, but that is the general idea. People do tend to meet expectations. If one party expects the other to just stay out of the way and not make any type of demand of them, why be so shocked when they seek comfort somewhere else.

I am offended when an artist, add agency, company, or anyone else promotes a double standard or stereotype to make money. Just that simple really. Maybe too easily offended but I am. There is no one size fits all, and some companies need to pay for their choices. I just won't post this stuff on this board. Sorry!
