I don't understand people that simply can't say "Sorry I would like to cancel" or "Sorry something came up" waited 2 hours last night (time I could be sleeping) waiting on a dude that literally for an hr was texting "Yeah i'll be there" (I'm over here thinking he was walking from Australia) 1/2hr later he's like "Dropping the car off" (Damn where did you drop off the damn car in Africa?) of course I believed him because he was verified and all. I guess I should have taken a hint when he asked me 5x if I had anything to drink (alcohol) but no I always give the benefit of the doubt.
So yeah that's my rant for the day lol
Has this happened to any one (Hobbyist/providers) how do you deal with that? I personally didn't even write back after realizing he was wasting my time.
It happens to both sides too damn much! I've said this before, Disrespect affects all of us because its a viscous circle ... It is the attitude that it happened to me, so I'm going to do it back to them, and that's a fucked up way to think. It gets us nowhere and harms all of us.

gamed twice. Once with a provider I had seen before. We did get together a few weeks later and she gave me extra (double) time.
The other provider never answered emails or phone calls.

He wasted a few hours of your life, he certainly earned his life ruined as a simple Google search would out him to his wife, kids, boss and mother. But that doesn't matter because he deserves to lose everything for a NCNS. Besides if he is quick he can pay the blackmail and get it removed before anyone sees.
Any person who uses that site is dangerous. Period. You are dangerous. Leave this life as your far worse than a time waister. You vindictive.

Badboyreport outs and blackmails clients and shouldn't be used. It makes screening harder and anything that makes screening harder makes things much more dangerous for everyone.

It happens on both sides... Some people either have no consideration for others or are really bad at time management. Keeping someone hanging like that is inexcusable.
Had a similar thing happen to me this week. She kept texting me she was stuck in traffic. After about an hour since the last communication, I knew she wasn't going to show, so I went down to the bar for a drink. Chatted up a couple of ladies there and ended up with one coming back to my room to enjoy the wine I had ordered. So, sometimes things happen, and you just have to make the best of them.
NCNS are beyond rude. Unless something like getting in a car wreck it is not toleratable and I wouldn't book with them again. Sadly it isn't rare in this game on both sides. The few times it happened to me I wasn't at all happy.
And you're charging $350. In NYC. (I know this pisses you off lol.) When I was charging $350 minimum even in Chicago I swear, totally different types of people contacting me. (Yes, some were/are wonderful - but most were extremely flakey and weird.)
I see you're with an agency. When you have a booking assistant and/or agency, they will highly encourage you to be at a low rate so they can make more. Makes sense. But when guys see a very low minimum and a beautiful girl like you, the jackass tricks are going to jump at it because it shows you're new and don't know better yet.
I promise you, as you learn and grow in this industry, and learn about "higher minimum rates" (and I'm not saying go all out to $1,000 - even $50 makes a whole lotta difference) you will see what I mean.
Lotsa jackasses drop off, sure, email slows down, but I remember wasting so much time and energy on the stupidest shit in the beginning. Once I learned the rates pick your clientele, life was so much better. I promise.
But since you're with an agency, I am not sure if you even get to pick your clients or not. That's another thing that is wonderful. Having all contact with clients, especially initial contact. It really helps you weed out the dipshits like this before they even book. I promise.
