I've never seen a porn star, although I saw a provider (retired now) who could give them a run for their money; she was a lot of fun. But I prefer the so-called "GFE" types myself.
a lot of girls with do a couple of shoots just to increase their h..king...porn does not pay much 500-1500 per scene depends...but once the scene is out, you can tour the country as porn starlet and charge double or triple the average rate...also while you are shooting those couple of scene on the west coast, your agent will already start pimping you out to local IT moguls that pay same as scene or more and you only have to do one guy, so even if you were not an escort at the time you entered porn industry you become an escort one way or another because it just makes sense....like for god sake you did on camera, the whole world can see it, there is nothing to loose...

I don't understand what you mean that there is no going back. You read of lots of people who dropped out of the business. Supposedly some of them got very successful in other fields.

ust like with GFE ... a Pornstar expeerience has certain connotations that come along with it. Things like cumming in the mouth, cumming on the face, anal, etc. It's just a certain list of menu items that many have come to associate with pornography. That's all.
The reason some of them charge more isn't because they feel entitled ... but because a lot of guys will pay for it! They've had a chance to see her perform, and they've gotten a preview of her skills. Maybe they're a little star struck or whatever but again, nothing wrong with that. I agree that doing a you-porn or having a webcam does NOT make you a porn star.
In that case you MAY be an adult actress .. but you're not a porn star. (actually I don't think webcams even makes you an actress..)
You need to have actually STARRED in something to have achieved that status... at least a couple of covers/feature actor/ress credits.
But as "some-guy" (his username) pointed out above, the PSE is a completely different kind of service.
