I will admit that a woman with a nice body is what attracts my attention, IRL and in the hobby world.  But it's a total let down if she doesn't also have a pretty face, and then I'm not interested.  Yes I want it all lol.

Now in the hobby world, a lot of ladies blur their faces in their pics, so in that case your question is moot.  

I'm not sure what prompted the question, but if you're worried about something don't be, because you Ms. James are gifted in both areas

Most of my male friends assert that a killer body rules. Not me. I respond more to a lovely face. To me, beautiful face = beautiful woman. This is not to say that I don't enjoy a great body; but for me a lovely face can more than make up for a less than great body, but not the other way around. But then, I'm a romantic sunnuvvaggun. Gazing into a lovely face is a huge part of the fantasy for me.

If I see a woman's body and can't get a good look at her face, of course I notice her body first. An example from today: I was walking outside, behind a woman in a skirt, her back to me, and my eyes zeroed in on her calves as she walked. She had incredible calves!  That's about all I could see since the skirt was the flowing type and she had a jacket on.  Later, I was standing in the security line at the airport, and with the crowd and coats and bags it was difficult to see much except faces. And I noticed some lovely women's faces... nothing that most guys would rate a "10" here I suppose, but some faces with bright smiles, beautiful eyes... faces of women that I had a feeling I'd enjoy making their acquaintance.  

Likewise for providers... I usually see bodies first since faces are often obscured in photos.  But the woman's face tells me a lot about her.  Like Audrey Hepburn said:  "The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides."

that's the first thing I notice. The body follows quickly, though.

If I don't like the face, it doesn't matter how killer the body is.  If the body isn't good, it's a shame. if the body is good, I'm interested. If the body is great, I'm trying to figure out how to see her no matter where she is.

First off not everyone is lucky to be born with a pretty face. I wouldn't penalize her for that unless she's absolutely, positively is a turn-off. An average face is good enough.

OTH "everybody" can have the body they want. It just takes motivation and dedication. No excuse for an out-of-shape soft body. A woman who works hard to maintain her body deserves to be rewarded.

Last but not least, I'm not marrying so I won't be waking up everyday to her face. A killer body simply feels good physically as well as a turn-on mentally.  

I believe that's the way it is and the way it should be. Just look at the world of porn. Not all porn stars are drop dead gorgeous but pretty ALL of them are in good shape -none has belly or spare tire.

In the TER world, most faces are blurred or covered so body comes first. In those cases where faces are exposed, it is an important factor.  Now, one topic of discussion about TER Profiles is the thin-skinny-athletic-babyfat-etc scale of things.  One man's skinny is another man's athletic and the reliability of those ratings is much debated. (I always joke about adding BMI or waist-to-hip ratio as another data field.)  But there is no similar rating for faces or eyes!  Round, oval, pear; round, almond, deep-set; uni-brow ...  So TER is mostly body.

Once in the room, I am a face guy. I love to stare at a beautiful face, usually nose-to-nose or thereabouts. I could spend all of my time "facing" but would kick myself later for not doing the other stuff.  

In the real world, I look at everything!, depending on the angle of my ogling, but faces probably win out over bodies. However, I don't want to embarrass myself or the "target" of my desire to ogle so I have to get my really, really good face time in the room.  

 
I'm thinking of someone I know in the TER world and that reveals one more aspect of our perception and expectation.  Pictures: body = 10, face blurred.  In person: body = 10 (or 11!), face = 9. HOWEVER, my expectation was to see a different face on that body so the first meeting was very awkward for me and her face seemed more like a 6. Don't worry - I'm over it now.  

Face and body, face and body.
Go together in real life and hobby.
This I tell you, brother.
You can't have one without the other!

But what really attracts me on a long term basis is her intelligence.  Case in point; my ATF!  It is true what Jennifer Anniston stated in a public address message a few years back:  "Smart is Sexy"!

Location, email, reviews, age, incall, availability, rates, and attention to details catch my eye first, exactly in that order. Face and body are way down the list, and are relatively unimportant when it comes to the hobby. All the others are a better indication of whether or not I'm going to have a good time.

pair of tits, a lean boy with a mouthwatering ass, a face is probably the last thing I cherish. lol

After all, you won't be fucking her face ... Wait, what was the question?
 

This is a very individual thing with guys.  I think it relates a bit to what the guy wants...for example where is he on the spectrum of something really GFE vs. non-stop romp.  I'm more of a GFE guy and so face is really important.  But as others have mentioned, there are many different ways for a woman to be beautiful, both above and below her neck.

I find that a warm, friendly, attentive, intelligent personality makes the face that goes with it look much prettier...

I'm not a hobbiest, however, I enjoy the company of many other providers and one thing I've learned is that if I'm booking you solely on your body because your face is blurred then I'm most likely just there to have my way with you and that's it. I want to play with your body and abuse it. If I book you or spend time with you because I enjoy your face then it's probably because I'd like to be more personal with you.. Ideally i go for girls who know how to have fun. I'm sick of gorgeous women who finish every damn sentence with a question mark..or average women who think they're gods gift to earth. I'd love a cute face with a curvy body...
