Olbermann was giddy last night with delight as he claimed that insiders in the government are waiting until Bush is out of office to reveal all of the illegal spying and other hi-jinks that has been going on with Bush as President. He said they are telling people to call them back on the 20th and they will be more than willing to talk.
This will give them three months worth of material to talk about as the public is coming to grips with the fact that their new President will not mean any of their lives are going to significantly change in any way as they now fantasize they will.
I don't know about everyone else but I have a big problem with having a government staffed with cads that will do immoral things just because they are told to do so by a superior. They justify it to themselves as something they have to do and pass the blame off on the President that they are wanting to blow the whistle on. A nation that deserved good leaders would not stand for this and would demand that the whistle blowers who made the conscious decision to side with treason, regardless of whether they would lose their job if they refused, should not be spared a trip to the gallows as well.

When that rat produces his "evidence" of the so-called Americans being "spied," I'll challenge anyone to take a car ride with those creeps on a given day.
For the know-it-alls here, I've seen this movie before and the surprise ending isn't pleasant. I saw Jimmy Carter ("the smartest candidate ever," screamed the press) and his party sweep into big power after the "evil" Gerald Ford. Once in office, he dismantled the Defense Department and CIA into a PTA meeting. The US then lost Iran in a horrible hostage coup that gripped this country for 17 months. (Did you know that previously to Carter, Iran was a staunched, key ally and NOT funders of suicide bombers)?
