For me, it wouldn't be a Miata, it would be on Ursula, my 1976 BMW R90/6 motorcycle that I restored to cherry, doing twisties going up and back to the Blue Ridge Parkway.  I live in the middle of great riding country.

She's called Ursula because she's German and obviously very female.  Two big jugs, always willing to start just fine, but after she gets an hour or so in when she is fully warmed up all the way up and down her drive line, she purrs like a sewing machine and there is no thought to what we do together, it just happens by itself, sometimes at high speed.  Just intuitive communication with feel and sound and light caresses to the controls (but with an occasional hard goose to get the adrenalin level back up)!  No bags or windshield, just wind in my hair and bugs in my teeth.  (well the bugs come later in the season...)

Yes, excitement! Anticipation! Sun shining, birds chirping!
No, I'm not in love, IT'S FINALLY SPRINGTIME!!!

No more slush on the roads, no bitterly cold bone chilling winds cutting you every time you walk out the door, no more grey overcast days with rushed trips to the stores to buy up extra bread & milk, fighting the crowds.

I wish my bro still had his little 5 speed Miata, today would be; a car theft, top down, wind in my hair with the radio loud & proud day :))

I'll still settle for a sunny spring day!

Hope you all are in as high spirits as I am!

Next week is going to SUCK, cold again with lots of rain, with possible, um, slight chance of freezing rain between Tuesday night and Wed morning I think!

I'm enjoying this LOVELY weather now though.

Steph

The weekend will be great!  Early week . . . A total BUMMER!

Now if the early week were with you, then it would be like the weekend:-)

So I'm making sure to do something outside Friday and Saturday for sure.

xoxo,

Steph
