and time to get ready for any date. Half Hours are usually best for my very regular clients whose schedule may vary. A quick come up for me and  a convenient option for him.

seems like a bad deal for me-  common ad 250 hh, 350 hr-  I don't know for me I would rather spend the extra 100 then go for the 1/2 hour-  do providers set the rate for 1/2 high to discourage half hours, or b/c the time involved in getting ready, screening etc not worth it, to do for less?

and so those rates make sense.

What doesn't make sense is a set price per hour with no discount, even for long sessions.  But I guess some gals don't like the long sessions.

It's called "volume discount". Time is no different than widgets.

In my opinion there is no way I can wine and dine you in 1/2 an hr. I mean I get a quickie in between lunch but I just don't take the risk. You are not going to drink my blue label in less than 1/2 an hr I just don't offer it. As far as prices I think so, 1/2 are a lot of the time $50 less than the original donation. Providers that do it I commend, me personally I don't offer it.

I think sessions that are disproportionately more expensive are the ones least convenient or least preferred by the provider. It goes both ways, I know providers that demand lower hourly rates, but as the duration goes up (6-8) hours it becomes more expensive than higher-end providers.

I don't do half hours....I find them to be a waste of time. I tried them at one time and it was a waste.  I ended up turning down regular clients that will see me for an hour or longer to keep these small appointments and made a lot less money while putting in more time.

I don't get many requests for half hours unless I advertise on a lower quality website.  I don't like rushed appointments and want to take my time and enjoy you.  Half hours take the fun out of providing for me.
