I notice that the most ladies in this business shave their pubic hair. It is hard to find somebody that trim, or go all natural.
What I am wondering if this was always the case or back in the day was it harder to find a clean shaven lady.
I don't mind a clean shaven kitty. When I do find a lady that has a landing strip I enjoy that.

Both styles and in between have always been around.
I started this hobby in the 1970s, and the natural look was in vogue. The 80s saw more of the shaved look, but natural made a comeback in the late 90s. Since then shaved has been dominant but I now see a trend to natural. The landing strip has also become popular in the last 10 years or so.
Such has it been, and such will it ever be
First of all, I do believe in progress. Some things are never coming back, like powdered wigs, for a variety of historical and functional reasons.
With the creation of decent razors and eventually waxes, bald became possible. I have to believe bald has some serious positives, otherwise adoption would not have been so widespread (!) and thorough in certain sectors, like porn, sex work and the young!
Now I grant that the pendulum on style may swing back, but a full bush represents some disadvantages now that our sexual mores and practices have also advanced. DATY is so much better as there is a larger palette to work with without pubes. I suspect that even when styles swing back, many that are sexually active will want to keep the labial area clear.

If anything, Playboy was one of the last to go bald. Penthouse was ahead of them showing pussies and gradually going more and more bare. Pamela Anderson once said she had to let her bush grow in for a photo shoot because that's what Hefner wanted.

I like going bald because it's aesthetically pleasing to me but most of all because the presence of even a little hair interferes with sensation. I want every square inch of skin exposed and available for stimulation.
In my partners I prefer neat trim or bald. Basically, I don't want to be picking strands out of my teeth, and hair going up my nose makes me sneeze.
...I think completely bald vaginas on women look kind of (for lack of a better term) creepy. I like mine just cleaned up on the sides, shorter up top, and a little shorter yet toward the back.
As for gentlemen, just trimmed is nice. The same concept of creepiness applies here too for me, I think.

I learned something new today!
I grew up loving the sight of pubic hair. Curly and lush bushes looked great as well as more demure little fur triangles. Most of my lovers in my 20s and early 30s were Nordic blondes or women of East Asian descent with relatively wispy and straight hair down there. Perhaps, that made me less sensitive to the practical aspects of pubic hair for oral sex.
After trying and failing to convince my East Asian SB away from laser-ing away all of her hair permanently, I am coming around. Of course, she has to live with it 24/7 so whatever suits her best is fine with me. Whether she is natural or bare as a baby, it is her kitty, and therefore it is beautiful to me.
Please! Nothing is worse than stubble on my tongue, lips and face as I'm trying to eat your ass. Or make out with your face.
If you've got to trim (or whatever really, if you've got to do whatever to your own body for your own pleasure) then do it. But please don't do it for me.

No need for both of them to be alike. Some women shave their heads and have a full bush & vice versa. Viva la difference.
