While it isn't quite the same as you the sex worker are a business and business get reviewed. And while I consider my bussinesses are an extention of me, I don't mind reviews as customers have a right to know what they are paying for.

That being said sex work is so intimate and personal. It would be hard to expose oneself that way. I couldn't do it. And on top of it some sites require a very detailed blow by blow accounting that in my opinion that just isn't necessary in my opinion. All I need is are you safe and sane. As I can't ask some idea of menu. Lastly general feelings of a session and if something is off like old photos, or toothy blow job. I don't like writing them.

I personally only review if the lady asks or I feel I must warn my fellow johns. I too fine TER reviews crass. And no sex worker need fear a review from me unless they ask for one if they deal with me honestly and preform within expectations.

New application coming out in November 2015 will allow users to rate and search human beings in the same manner as restaurants, hotels, and car services on other apps.

From the article:
Users will be able to add virtually anyone to the service, and people are unable to opt out of having reviews posted about them...
In order to post a review, users have to be 21 or older with an active Facebook account. Reviews must be made under a person's own name, and a user must indicate how they know the person they will review in one of three categories: Personal, professional or romantic...

What's interesting is only the reviewer has to be a member.  So if a provider (who's a member) sees a client and it goes awry, she could create a review for him that would go public.  Or same issue in reverse.

Apparently follows a phone number - not sure how that impacts burner numbers, especially after they've been recycled several times.

They are going to need them. I see not only the potential, but the certainty of HUGE abuse of this App and I can see everything to defamation, alienation of affection, all the way to tortuous interference lawsuits filed against reviewers and the host site as well.

I think this is a horribly bad idea and I hope it's short lived.

I'm no lawyer...

But I think "tortuous interference" is the same thing as "cock-blocking".  Correct?
Oh, I can't keep all those high fallutin' terms straight.

;-)

Happy Friday!

I can see how this could be used for the very purpose.

Companies "cock block" each other all the time, but sometimes there methods reach actionable levels, I can see how a company might launch a "bad review" campaign against all the principals of their competitors, much in the same way a hooker might have her friends writing bad reviews of her competition right here on TER.

It just proves the out of control nature of the internet. You could be reviewed by somebody you have never met. Expect lawsuits to follow.

Only a self-absorbed prick would spend any part of their time "evaluating" random people.  Grow a pair and tell people what you think of them face to face.  We are cultivating a society of egomaniacal cowards.

..."We are cultivating a society of ego maniacal cowards."...

It was called the bathroom stall.
You could write anything about anyone without their consent or knowledge.
It was awesome.

And of course it was all true.  Every word.

Come to think of it, I left some pretty good poetry back there.  Wonder where my royalty checks are?

;-)

Social media is destroying our society by allowing weak minded losers to perpetuate their idiocy.

I value my privacy. Anyone who does not respect that is not my friend. I don't care what is said. If I can find any valid excuse to sue the owners of the app or anyone reviewing me I will. I do not wish my privacy to be invaded. And I do not wish to be reviewed in a non-business relationship. This goes for positive or negative reviews. This is intrusive to say the least. This is just wrong.

Regardless of what the johns have to say. I find them crass, and TER makes the guys add shit in a manner that just lowers the bar. And the numbers rating...I thought that childish crap went out when guys left grade school, but I guess not.

I am thankful I am not subjected to public humiliation by a blow by blow of what I did in PRIVATE that is supposed to be discreet .

I like humiliation in a certain context, but reviews are really a double edged sword.  Even positive attention can be too much attention, and that can bring all sorts of problems.  I think I'm happy not using old reviews and not having many now.  I think its safer, and I feel like I'm not constantly attracting assholes.

I can see your point about the childish crap.  I look at it like this:  We are adults playing at sex games, and keeping score is part of games in general.  It seems that you view it as the tricks are the winners when it comes to the reviews, and the hookers are the losers due to the humiliation of the blow by blow account of said reviews.

I also consider reviews as a form of free advertising for the hookers here.  Sure, if you have enough bad reviews that could be the kind of advertising you could live without, but then just do what some of the other providers do or have done...change names, or up your game (that usually works best from what I've read here).

I see that the review business is bothering you.  Have you considered delisting yourself from TER so that your reviews and your profile are removed?  Also, in order to not be reviewed by any johns in the future, a change in vocation would be helpful too.

Just my .02

When I found this and her review boards I was horrified and made the choice a long time ago never to subject myself to that crap. It can be done.

No need a change in vocation (why do tricks immediately default to this suggestion). I do very well without any reviews...much to the chagrin of tricks who seem to think a hooker will fail miserably without them. And I have no profile on here. AGAIN, do not need to have one.

Clearly if a woman treats her clients how she would want to be treated in a similar situation and has ethics, she can do very well without advertising every hump, lick and suck she does with many, many men.

Wow I think the next post I read from a disgruntled trick, that is now going to be my cut and paste answer..."Go find another hobby"

I stated that in order to avoid being reviewed here or anywhere for that matter by future johns, that a change in vocation would be wise.  Just because you have no profile now, doesn't mean a john can't review you here.  I there is any webpage of yours or any ad somewhere that can be linked to your services, then someone can review you here for services rendered.

As to your claim of disgruntled tricks and such, well, not sure where you were going with that.  Perhaps the "disgruntled trick" is already one of your cut and paste answers.  I will not respond on any more of your responses here to this, so please take the last word and roll with it.

A john can submit a review BUT it will not be posted. I have had this discussion before and most tricks do not believe me. I went the extra mile to contact TER well not me personally but rest assured they received correspondence and I have not had any reviews...sure they might have been submitted BUT none were posted. You seem to think I do not check...Oh I do just to make sure.

What is so hard to believe...that a hooker cannot handle her business and do it her way WITHOUT being forced to be reviewed. There is a way, I found it.

This is a review site in case you haven't realized yet.  The reviews that you've had deleted is an oxymoron given that a new user handle would have been created, and unless you come forward to TER and tell them that you are using multiple handles then you have no way to get those reviews deleted.

I've also heard from some others that you've got reviews on a board that is closed now, but the reviews are still there.

Johns will continue to write reviews on hookers.  You don't have to like it.  And from having read yours, I can understand why you are so verbal in denying that they exist.

There were never any to delete. And share with the rest of us who I am? Post my website.

Yes TER will do what you said. You didn't even need  to "go the extra mile" and have someone contact TER and have correspondence discussing this. All you needed to do was have a no review policy on your website or ads. If a provider has a no review policy, TER will automatically de-list her which means they won't accrpt any reviews of her (you can't even discuss a de-listed provider on the boards.)

However, there are many other review sites, and many do not have that policy, and many have far less scruples than TER. Just saying.

Check out the write-up on Snopes.

It's quite possible this is a hoax, perhaps to stir up a "controversy" by filmmakers/editorialists.

I looked the Peeple app on Google. No, it's not a hoax.

There is no reason to attack me like that. I did nothing wrong to anyone on here.

Main reason why I keep to myself...and why bring my weight into this?

I'm not even going to respond anymore.
