Thanks for the reply.  Where would I do that?  Is there a particular site?

I recently joined TER, and I'm a newb to this whole thing.  It was one of those things on my bucket list, and not interested in dating right now, so the timing was perfect.  However, in trying to book with an escort, I seemed to mess up along the way.  Unsure what I did specifically, but hours before I was to meet the escort, she said I was "weird" and cancelled our appointment.  Now, I haven't heard back from 3 others, and just tonight a fourth said I was "not safe".  WTH?

Being a newb, maybe I don't know what to say or not to say.  I was courteous and polite to all, so it's not that I was being disrespectful or crude.  Maybe I asked the wrong questions?  Being a doctor, I get that I may write more formally than most, but for the life of me, I don't understand how I got blackballed.

Could really use some feedback and guidance.  As it stands now, I've somehow been blackballed on some site I would guess, because how else would someone new to the industry have a bad reputation?

Upper right corner below the life preserver. There are a number of subjects covered which are helpful to newbies. Also have you checked out the FAQ for Newbies board? Many new clients find it difficult to get that first date so you're not alone.
Finally take a look at a site P411, many providers use it for screening. They also advertise "newbie friendly".  Hang in there eventually it'll happen

It's hard to help you when we don't know what you wrote.  We're these conversations in writing?  If so, are you able to post it here, changing the names of course?

For what it's worth, one of the first escorts I called years ago basically called me a dick and an idiot for inquiring about her rates that she didn't post on her site.  Basically, she said that if I had to ask, then clearly I couldn't afford her and should stop wasting her time.  She's now a top ten provider in SD and I've been hobbling consistently ever since.

Why are you hobbling?  Did she also break your leg?  Lol

HA!  Nice catch.  Webster really needs to add hobbling as an official word.

because you aren't asking for the appointment the right way.  Newbies get impatient and start sending a lot of follow-up emails, which the providers don't like.  Or else they try to engage in extensive email conversations before the session and you are branded as a time-waster.  However, the biggest reason is if you mention money or any sex acts prior to the session.  It makes you look like LE.

Be business-like in your initial contact and don't say anything about what you want or are expecting will happen. Don't ask about rates, they are on the providers website.  Provide all screening information required.  Arrive on time, and follow all instruction to the letter.  Any deviations and they will not hesitate to bail on you anytime up until you knock on the door, and you will be standing there with you dick in your hand and will have wasted the $25 Viagra pill you just popped in the car.

This is a huge reason I rarely hobby in the US anymore.

In Tijuana, where prostitution is legal, I can walk up to any one of the many gorgeous girls walking around one of its famous clubs and directly ask her what I want to do with her.  It's expected to talk explicitly about what you want to do with that provider.  Literally, you run them through your menu (i.e., "I want a BBBJ, DFK, 69, and two pops") and if they agree, then it's upstairs you go.  No surprises, no BS.

I fucking hate vice.

When you contact a provider keep it simple.  How you communicate with her is the only thing she has to go on until she meets you.  Also, what type of number are you using to contact.  If you are using one of those low cost or free numbers, it is possible you were reassigned a number that was at one time used by LE or someone else that got blacklisted.  I don't know what the odds are of that happening, but it is certainly possible.
