I'd much rather be Al Bundy selling women's shoes

Why can't we all just get along? Is this an extreme case of jealousy? It's just sad.

A provider sent me nasty messages accusing me of "copying" her work and "sabotaging" her. Told me she will expose me for being a fraud. That I should "back off". Back off? Meaning I should stop providing, is this a joke? Trying to bully me. I have so much going on in my life to be concerned with what others are doing. There are so many fishes out there, why is she bothering me? She harassed me last month then decided to harass me again today. Does she feel I'm a threat? It's so crazy. Honestly, some people think too highly of themselves. I don't have time for unnecessary drama. It's obviously she's been stalking me and has some malice. You know what they say about people who start rumors/gossip.

Have you ever had a provider make false claims about you

No matter how much she harasses you, do not engage.

I have had different types of jealousy. ie: denying references, when I contact a girl for a possible double, they demand that the client contacts them first (not an uncommon request), and then the client tells me that she wants him to see her alone first (aka stealing the client), etc...

As long as she's not in the same city as you are... I wouldn't worry. Prolly just a provider with nothing better to do.

and sometimes it's not pretty when BSC hookers go to war with each other.

I am sure anyone from Atlanta who has been around for any length of time remembers the "whore wars" we had a few years back.

some women just can't play well with others, and it's a fine line between "not escalating" the situation and simply "rolling over" for some lunatic.

Actually there is some of this going on in Atlanta right now come to think of it.

She doesn't need to prove her site and artistic expressions are stolen from that other provider. If the other girl took the time to harass month after month; she's someone to stay away from. Simple as that.

Everything from malicious board posts, unfounded accusations made anonymously, to blackmailing any of her supporters, all the way to outing and dropping a dime to LE.

Some of these women are downright vicious, you should count yourself lucky that you haven't run into any of this kind of behavior, but trust me it exists, and it exists right here in TER land.

I know you are the Jackie Robinson of TERland, but sometimes you just can't turn the other cheek. It's the preferred way of dealing with things, but sometimes the other party gives you no choice.

I don't have time to engage petty people. I am drama free. Some people can't handle it when someone is doing well. Always want to start something. They thrive on drama and negativity.
Last time she harassed me she gave a fake apology for "getting out of character and overreacting". It's almost bipolar.

That ridiculous. I've had problems with references too, one of them went crazy on me cause I saw the client. She gave him a bad reference and called him a pedophile for seeing me. He send me the screenshots.

This particular one claimed I stole "seductress" from her. I don't know what sparked her to bother me again. If anyone uses the word seductress, you are "copying".

We are in the same city unfortunately. I'm not worried one bit 'cause it's false. It's sad to be insecure and say negative things about a person. It shows what kind of person they are.

You can only have a fight if there are 2 people involved, cut yourself out of the fight and she can't do much about it.
If she tries  to contact you with a different email address block that one to.

From your posts it sounds like she is getting to you a little, so it's time to cut her off.

Then you will be much happier and not have to deal with this BSC women.

How references work is one lady grants her time out of courtesy by giving a reference for another lady.  That lady in turn grants her time to give references to others.  Now...we are all paid for our time, so if there is a lady like me that simply does not ask for references, it makes no sense to put the time into giving them.  There are also ladies that don't give references after a year.  Now, how long does she have to be on the line to write references for one visit?  It makes no sense monetarily, so everyone isn't always jealous of you.

I never said the reference lady was jealous of me. Where are you reading that? Reference was in reply to Miss Sasha comment.
The main topic is the lady harassing me for no reason.

Holy cow!

I taught high school kids and I saw this word all the time.  It drives me nuts.  What is wrong with kids that they think probably and prolly are synonymous? Or that PROLLY is even a word.  Now posting on a message board, OK, I'll cut you some slack.  Still, I tell my kids that if an employer sees you write PROLLY on a resume, that resume is being filed in the permanent file bin.

Just my 2 cents babe... continue on..

Newsflash, but being a high school teacher is only one very small step up from selling woman's shoes.

We already have one pedantic putz around here in the form of Conan the Putz, we certainly don't need another.

obviously not, or you wouldn't compare it to selling shoes.

Providers don't have an exclusive on that. I've run into crazy clients (I'm sure providers do too), crazy drivers, crazy presidential candidates :) etc.

Good advice above to not engage... stay as far away from the crazies as you can. But if they threaten you or your loved ones, do what you need to do to protect yourself and them.

I second that.

While the rest of the comment does sound a little BSC, this first part ...

A provider sent me nasty messages accusing me of "copying" her work
has me wondering: Is she accusing you of plagiarizing her website or ads?  We've heard those accusations before on the boards and sometimes it's pretty obvious!  There is some writing that is very unique and intended to show off the personality, vocabulary and intelligence of the lady who wrote it and to attract and interest the the kind of gentlemen she prefers.  To see it copied into someone's BP ad is pretty insulting and aggravating.

YOUR site looks very unique and very nice and very original.  The BSC part would come if BSC-girl thinks she owns the copyright on "My rates are not negotiable. It is for my time and companionship."  (She does not own it.  I OWN IT, and you have my permission to use two sentences, royalty-free.)

Did she accuse you of plagiarism?  If so, I'd check to see if it's a legitimate complaint, EVEN IF IT WAS UNKNOWN OR UNINTENTIONAL.  If so, just change some wording and continue to ignore BSC-girl.

Thank you for the compliment dear.

I have no clue what she's talking about honestly, or why she should be messaging me. All my work is mine and took time and effort. To accuse me of sabotaging her, BSC

She accused me of copying seductress, that seductress is HER marketing. Last month I had an ad that had the word in the subject. She send me a message stating I'm copying her marketing style by using seductress, that she's been seductress for over a year.

It's crazy, so many ladies use that word

There is a hooker in Atlanta that goes by VIP Veronica who was just this week called out for bad behavior with a client who once went ape shit on some other woman who committed the sin of using "VIP" in her name as well. I guess this BSC hooker thinks she can copyright the term "VIP" like your BSC hooker thinks she can copyright "seductress"

I've had several go off the deep end on me. The stories I could tell. I've also heard some pretty scary stories from atfs. I'll add yours to the list. However, I do know a gentleman who fervently believes that the crazies make the wildest lovers. I'll take a pass on that. Vanilla works for me.

Before I knew very much about privacy or safe providing, I had an escort bullying me.  She accused me of " stealing" a part of her name.  I was perplexed, yes at the oddity of anyone in this bizz trying to claim ownership of any words, but also, at the time, I had been using my actual birth name.  I was naive enough back then to just use my reAl name.  So obviously I was not copying her.  Petty.  But I just deleted her raving lunatic emails and avoided her.  No harm.  She's the one who lost sleep over it.  I just went on with my life.
Lolol seductress... That's a pretty common word in this industry.  Ridiculous squabbles.  I don't think that someone who is doing well and is happy with their personae and status would be fretting about someone else's verbiage or stage name.  If you're doing well it's a lot more to do with ... Well..other things.
Now... Nobody else better use the word.. "Verbiage" in their post cause I came up with that and you'd be copying me.

SAG has rules about UNIQUE names: "Like other guilds and associations that represent actors, SAG rules stipulated that no two members may have identical working names unless it is the Person's Birth Name and then they are allowed to use it."  But many add a middle initial, just to keep things clear.

Rats.  I didn't copyright Seductress.  All of the royalties I've lost.  It pains me.

I wonder if TER should establish an official "Unique Provider Name Registry"?  Before you can become a Provider, you would have to register a TER verified unique name.  We probably would have Katrina-1, Katrina-2, Katrina-3, Katrina-4 ...  Katrina-2376 ...

Which has me wondering.  What IS the most common name among TER Providers
