Many have claimed that they can notify their CC Customer Service to approve a specific or one-time payment to CCBill. Money Orders snail mailed to Germany still work. A newer option is to use GIFT cards, not credit cards. There are companies that convert them to cash, for a fee, so TER accepts them but you take the hit for the fee. Always seem to have an issue lately,both Seg Pay & CCbill get declined by my bank & this time immediately after trying both of them twice last weekend , next transactions where all fraud charges & my card was compromised ,which is a major hassle .I sent a pm asking & they said banks decline these 2 payment centers because there often adult content.Wtf i don't know or care to find out what bit coin is , if you can't make it easy for us to pay your not gonna be around very long.

I think it has to do with CCbill having their servers abroad and the bamk automatically will block that as a suspicious charge and will wait for you to confirm u intended to make that charge. Check your email to see if your bank sent u a notification.
It has happened to me with other sites when I buy stuff but their servers are abroad. And I'm sure this site wouldn't be any different.

BTW, did you know you don't have to pay for VIP? There are a few ways you can get free VIP, beside writing reviews. Don't think it's worth it? You'd be surprised how those free days can pile up in a member's account

but to answer your question TER will also credit you with VIP days for report inaccuracies in reviews and I think some other QA type reports. Reporting bad URLs used to get you a couple of days. They have also run a few challenges on the Let's Play board that can get you a lot more than a few days VIP is you can win.
While I get they want to promote both use of the site and increase the review database I really wish they required a paid subscription (at least once) to be eligible for the bonus VIP for contributions to the site. That might help the "contributions" actually be contributions.

I Have had trouble in the past, so I just called the number on the back of my card and said I was making an online purchase. All they asked for was the amount and it went thru. Easy peesy!
I too have had trouble renewing my VIP. Admin told me to keep trying and they would extent my VIP. Sure enough a few days later and a few try later it went through.
I been having problems too. I get an email asking if I made the purchase. if not call a number otherwise they send me a digit code to ok it. sometimes I have to call them to let it thru. most important is to tell them its a foreign purchase. I had these problems ordering fishing gear from canada also. also give them the name of company as it will shows on cc bill not ter.
