You can 'look' older without actually being older...

Guess you've never heard of tanning beds, smoking, too much partying etc. I have friends who are 21 that look damn near 30, so don't always be so quick to assume a chick is lying because she had a harder life than the average aging process you speak of. Or, try living on the beach where I do and tell me you feel the same... everyone here looks older if they don't have money for Botox and Chemical Peels.

I'm wondering if a providers age actually matters to sponsors
Most ladies say there 3-5 yrs younger on ads then they really are
if you look younger than your real age can you put your real age and still get
good amount of business or does age really matter?

Everyone has different likes, tastes, etc when it comes to the ladies they want to meet.  I have my own preferences.  Age to some is just one of many factors when searching.

because i am 36...

everyone tells me that i look younger than 36.. but i still post 36.

i do just fine business wise. :)

of course if you are selling your alter ego you can make it be any age that you like. weight is harder to lie about because we still come in the same body form...  but really you can pick just how close you would like it to be to reality, as long as you can actually be that.

I disagree. If you see older guys who have seen the aging process it's pretty obvious when a 36 year old claims she is 29.

the op questioned 3-5 years.
i stated as long as you can pull it off.

you came back with a reply of a ten year age difference...

did you mean this as a reply to my post?

ill be 37 in october and I'm sure i could pull off without question 33-37.

Not you personally. I meant that the typical "lie about their age by +/- 7 years " woman usually does not fool me. I always add 7 years and if the girl looks younger it's a pleasant surprise. I'm sure there are some who use their real age but I bet it's rare.

I believe honesty is the best policy :) Have a wonderful day!

Come on. Lying about age by 7 years was a standard procedure at agencies prior to the internet. The madams did not want any girl over 29 at the agencies but you could stay 29 for 7 years. Since you once ran an agency you know perfectly well that was done for marketing purposes.

How old did you say you were, London? :)

The age of ladies who advertise past 26 is +/- 7 years. If they say 26 it usually means 32-34. It they say 33 it usually means 39-41. There is no group of people who lie about their age quite like escorts.

The marketing theory is that it's easier to sell a 26 year old than a 33 year old. It's easier to sell a 33 year old than a 40 year old. I'm not sure that's true but that's the theory behind it.

is the fact with so many guys here claiming to love the old broads, and eschewing the young ones. Why wouldn't more women be honest about their age? For every guy like me who likes the younger hard bodies, there seem to be five other guys who prefer the older women. Go figure.

so if a 42 year old maintains she's 35 she doesn't show up on my search and we both have no idea what we may have missed out on.

The bubble gum snapping 20 somethings just don't do it for me. I can only fuck for 20-30 minutes and appreciate someone that understands what I'm talking about for the other 30 minutes... guess I could just zip up and leave early, but that might come off as rude.

GaGambler737 reads

but I also don't have any problem filling up an hour with a beautiful young lady.

Actually I spend a lot of time with women who barely speak English and it doesn't bother me a bit.

how do you know that instead of appearing rude, you maybe doing them a big favor?

Isn't it true IRL that most people would just love to leave work early while earning same paycheck?

they might be turning cartwheels as I'm going down the hall.... problem solved...

any of you 20 somethings out there want to put up with a fat old fart for 35-40 minutes in exchange for your hourly rate ? please be prepared to park the bubblegum on the bedpost while administering a bbbj though.....

a little fudging by a provider who truly looks younger then her real age doesn't bother me. On the other hand, claiming to be 39 and photoshopping the bejesus out of pics when over 60 is a problem. And yeah that shit happened to me once. Never again.

When I'm 60 if I still want to have an open sex life and get paid for it.. I would totally market myself to men who are widows and miss the intimacy with their wife but aren't looking to fall in love again..

There is a market for every last thing and finding the few people who want something ongoing is the key to this. :)

Thanks for your opinions on this matter. I'm getting tired of having to lie about my age I'm 31 but post 25/26
Because I look young sometimes people think I'm in my earlier 20s. if I talk about an event in sports or something to a sponsor there like hey how u know that your too young to know that oops I forgot I lied about my age lol
It's exhausting to try an do the math while having a good conversation with someone

Scotty's Castle in Death Valley are all dressed in period costume and while leading the tours, they can, and will, answer any questions up to 1939. Try doing that math and stay in character.

As long as there are guys afraid to "hurt their feelings" there will always be women who will pull this kind of crap. The only way to stop this kind of thing is to take the profit potential out of it.

Such an egregious lie should never have been rewarded. A weak moment that shall not be repeated. I did bring it out in the review, only to have a subsequent reviewer basically say I was full of shit. Like I don't know eligible for social security when I see it.

I don't want a scene at a hotel where colleagues are also staying, just by way of example.  I am simply not willing to risk it.  I know, same result and it is about being afraid, different kind of fear though.

i am 42, but have been told i look younger...looking younger is not on my priority list as long as i look my best at any age

i always say...

please do not think that i am younger. please believe that i am 36. then i will look like an AWESOME 36. for people who believe that i am younger, i would just blend in... lol

I don't have a problem with my age either.  I'm aging gracefully and like to attract older (35+) men.
I'm the one that has to live up to the persona.  I think truthful (within 5 lbs) is best.  lol!

My face is my best attribute, but for privacy reasons I don't show my face, so I think there are some that expect someone that looks older.  Its somewhat of a set back, but it isn't worth showing my face since I know they'll be pleased with my face when I show up.  Since I'm really only looking for sadist, it shouldnt matter as much, but its a bummer not being able to show my face.

I prefer saying sponsor over client but if you like being called a client that's your Prerogativ

No one under the age of 18!

And, I'm not interested is someone my age or older than me, I'm 51.

If they are the escort websites than I don't think it matters to the sponsor.

This is a wonderful website.  I have been lurking and reading for some time now, and feel like I really know some of the posters here.

I really like that you are the TER board expert.  You seem very kind and knowledgeable.

I have been following the board for a while and it's like most of the boards that I've been on.  Takes a while to understand who is who and I prefer to learn a bit about who does what here before I posted.

No offense, but when you don't put something in the message area aren't you supposed to put an eom in the subject line?

I don't fudge on my age even though I can easily get away as several years younger.  I realize that many men may add 5-7 years to my listing, but on the other hand, I don't disappoint those guys when we meet because I look 10-15 years younger than they were expecting.  I'm not at all bothered that most guys want someone 20 years my junior, and I'm glad there are so many younger ladies to fulfill their needs; I'd hate for someone to be with me but wish they were elsewhere.  I know my niche and am happy to fill that.

Some agencies lie almost automatically. I remember meeting one woman who laughed when I referred to her alleged age and said something like: "Yeah. That would mean I had my first kid when I was ten." She was billed as being in her mid-20s, but she was really in her mid-30s. She could pass for either age, but she didn't like pretending that she was younger than she really was.

Some people lie about their age because they aren't comfortable with the reality.

I like it when a woman is comfortable enough with her own age, body, etc. that she doesn't need to pretend to be something that she isn't.

I generally do better with older providers, but I have had great fun with people in their late 20s and with a lady in her 60s (that was 8 or 9 years ago and I see she is just back in action.) In general I have been happiest with ladies in their 30s, 40s, 50s.

Hi There

It really doesn't make a difference.

oh honey...age is not only a number, but experience...i have been pleasing men a lot longer than some of you all have been alive...lol

So yes I perfer woman who are mature but experience is more important than age.
Some younger ladies are also experience too.
It all depends on the woman and how good she is behind close doors.

When I first returned to the biz several months ago, I had my real age posted.   In my first week back, multiple clients told me that they expected me to be older.  Someone I'd known from years ago explained that he always assumes a lady is at least 3-5 years older than her stated age.

So I changed my strategy.  I don't like outright lying about it, so I just removed my age.  And also removed it from most of my ads.  All I put is my age category: MILF, Mature, Real-Housewife type, etc etc etc.

There are some sites that require a specific age number, so yeah... I do lie there.   On one site, I'm older than my real age and on another I'm younger.  If you average them together, you'll get my real age lol.   We all rationalize things in our own way.  :-)

I've only had a couple of clients say that they expected me to be younger: one simply got that idea in his head based on the photos of my body, not from me or my site/ads; the other was a relative newbie who didn't understand what "mature" and MILF mean.

Most of the time, if my age is mentioned at all, it is to say that they expected me to be OLDER.  Some even go so far as to tell me to my face that I'm not as old as I claim.  To which I reply, "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!"  ;-)

That's irrelevant.  It's what you do with your life that matters...

Age does not matter as much as the appearance to me. You could be 21 or 51 if you are put together and sexy and take care of yourself.

Here's my thoughts: It's not the literal age that matters.  It's the appearance, just as it is in a personals ad.  When people understate their weight - or age - by a little, it becomes an expectation, so that when we see an ad that assures us that the provider is 23, most guys assume that the lady is mid-to-late 20s, if not early 30s.  By comparison, if I see a personals ad and the lady says "weight proportionate to height," I assume she can stand to lose 10-20 pounds (as all of us probably can).

I don't mind a little fibbing about age in an ad.  A provider's advertised age is just another way of advertising how youthful she looks.  If a gal in her 30s can pass for her 20s, that's great.  But if she can't, I'd like to know it before I travel a long distance to go see her.  I'm not a perfectionist by any means, but sometimes - not often, by the way, but just sometimes - I really do want to spend my time and roses for the company of a provider who is not MILF-aged.

At those times, I try to let the lady know, when I call, that the accuracy of her age is important to me.  I'll come right out and say that I totally understand the pressure to use old pictures in ads and to fib a little about her age, but that I don't want to waste her time or mine by showing up to discover that she's really about 20 years older than her advertised age.  Most ladies seem to understand this and appreciate my candor.  A few ladies - more than a few - seem to figure that once I show up I'll go through with it even if they're 20 years older than they said.  A few ladies seem to believe that they can honestly pass for the advertised age, too.

In other words, if the pic is outdated, and the provider has obviously lied, and it matters to me on that occasion, I'll walk away.  But if the provider's appearance is in the ballpark, I'll probably stay and proceed with the appointment

What matters is how attractive she is...and I'm not just talking about the physical, either.  Intelligence is attractive also.

...it was a big mistake lol!  Apparently lots of people assume the age is a lie (by 5 or 10 years even!) so when people meet me I think they're a little surprised by how young I look.  However, in escort years I'm 30 which totally rocks ;)

I have over the past few months seen a couple of providers that were, errrr, let's say more than mature. Neither had an actual age in their ads or on their websites.  Both were great experiences, but I hate to admit my shallowness and say that it did leave something lacking.
