Well I have read my share of poetry and I must say I find this to be disturbing. If it is not from a personal point of view then I would say that my being disturbed is proof that it is art, afterall art is meant to challenge us and make us think. If it is from a personal point of view, IOW you are the guy in the poem, i hope the police catch you soon.

am not guy, female, or mountain in poem. meant to be disturbing, maybe. don't know what it is yet. thought I'd share and see what stuck. I tend to read the "darling hurts me" line from radiohead's "pearly" in more emotional terms. and yes, it scares me too. which is good, me thinks, as it defines a boundary. a boundary that robert frost was probably never thinking of when he wrote about deciding between two paths ("And be one traveler, long I stood").
if poetry could be combined with the radio in the form of a tarot card reading, that's what this could be. This particular piece was probably not the best choice for a first posting...
