They are barred from serving alcohol or providing any entertainment after closing. Customers are not allowed inside after closing. Violations may result in ABC suspending/revoking alcohol license and the city may also suspend/revoke their conditional use permit if they have one.

Do you have citations to the San Diego Municipal Code and/or California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control laws/regulations for your "grandfather" assertion?

I had someone ask me. I didn't know so I thought I would post here.
Anyone know anything?

My curiosity is going crazy now

My understanding is that they lost their grandfathered status when the owner died. I believe the entertainers now need an adult entertainer license to work there.

Dolls, I danced long enough to know that these places do illegal shit all the time.
Come on, this isn't a fast food chain we're talking about - it's the adult industry.

Just called them. The do not require permit for dancers still because of the grandfathering of the establishment. Also to my knowledge they don't serve alcohol unless that changed so there is no permit at risk by having something after hours. Anyone with info can PM me or post here.

No need to discuss legality/illegality of such an event - we're all here on the "devils playground" so to speak, toeing the line of "OK" with jargon and disclaimers.

Don't fool yourself Goldie, ICE gets a huge erection everytime they bust a strip joint.  It doesn't matter if everybody else is doing it.

If you want more info please PM me - there is little use continuing this discussion when the original topic isn't being applied.

I stand corrected then.

I know a guy that ate out like eight different girls there during the day a couple years ago, he said it was worth every penny ha ha ha. Not my style but to each his own.  I have known strippers long enough to know they do what they want, when they want, with who they want. Cheers
