I once dated 2 clients and both relationships went to hell, crashed and burned. Both got jealous of the amount of attention and money I was earning and kept on complaining that I needed to quit...and see only them but never tried to help me find RL work. Needless to say, I'll never date a client nor will I be dating in the civvie world for a long time. As for falling in civvie love, it took me some time to warm up to my exes and fall for them due to past bad experiences
I never asked her to quit, but she constantly talked about quitting if she could just find a decent civvie job, her definition of a "decent" job was something she could make "at least ten grand a month" without having to work too hard. lol Oh BTW, she had no real skills except the sex industry.
The story actually has a happy ending, we broke up and she ended up opening an AMP. I have to confess, she was a lousy GF, but she made a pretty decent ex GF. we stayed in touch for years until we just lost touch.
One other thing I have found about the many hookers GF's I have had over the years. The breakups never seem to be quite as drama filled and I have remained friends with most of them, and at least civil with all of them. I can't say my record with civvies is anywhere near that good.
