I was kind of surprised she kept my number. In the text she indicates she will be in town and how great it would be to see me. I questioned her 'motive' as I hadn't seen or heard from her in a long while. She says it was because she enjoyed our time together.
Her incall is a very small space in a pretty inconvenient location. I do recall her as being nice and having a good time with her. So, I decide to suck up the inconvenience and small space and set up an appt., mainly because she seems so eager to see me. The lead up to the appt is peppered w texts of how she can't wait to see me.
Get to the appt on a 92 degree day and discover her apt has no air conditioning. She claims it broke that day, however no mention of this in any of her communication. At this point I'm thinking of trying to make the best of the situation, take a cold shower and I'm ready to proceed w the date. Now I'm getting the impression that she isn't all that eager to see me at all as she excuses herself to go to the bathroom.
So, between the lack of AC and her lack of enthusiasm, I decide to 'cancel' the date. Being that she had put aside the time and I 'cancelled," I felt she needed to be compensated (even though the conditions were pretty unacceptable.) I offered her half of her donation, which she accepted.

I am a firm believer in not "rewarding bad behavior" and 99% of the time when I walk from a session where no session happens, I do so without leaving a cent, but this is a bit different. She didn't actually "lie" to you as far as showing up, being the girl in the pics etc, etc as she was a lady you have seen before, she didn't refuse services, or anything deceitful enough to warrant not leaving her a cent.
I agree with your decision to leave half the donation, which I am assuming that half was no more than $150 and calling it a bad day.
Go buy yourself a steak with the other half of the money and enjoy it thoroughly! Maybe she'll buy some icecream to cool off!
I think you handled the whole thing pretty well, honestly. Unfortunately, It sounds like the provider in question had probably found herself in a tough financial spot and was doing whatever she could to make some money-- even at the expense of her clients' comfort and enjoyment.

I really don't see the tough financial situation. She has a P411 acct, a TER acct and a website. She has 8.7/8.6 avg TER reviews. NY appts are expensive, so I understand having a small space. It's just that on a 92 degree day when you have no AC, you should disclose that. All I'm saying.

... a couple of years ago. Hot steamy day, a provider I'd seen before seemed excited to see me, and when I got to her incall I found the windows open as her AC was kaput. The big difference was, she was horny as heck and we both love hot, sweaty fun, so it was a great date.
If her attitude had been like that of the provider in your situation, I might have exited early also, but compensated her for her time as you did.
