I have always felt that providers and mongers were interchangeable. I keep hearing certain guys whimsically referring to ATFs as their long lost loves. Is there such a thing as an ATF?
I don't have a ATF yet 'cause I'm not done yet but I do have a CF -current favorite- that I appreciate very much. I know exactly what I'm walking into when I meet her.. she is consistently excellent...
When I reach in the pool and pull out a new experience I have no idea if it is going to be good, bad, or indifferent.. and yes, I read the reviews, guys exaggerate or flat out lie.. go figure...
Every once in awhile you have to go fishing to find a new CF, but once you find her why fix it if it ain't broke ?
Lot's of guys play the other way and are here for the variety, but I prefer consistency...

Instead, I guess I agree with you, because I don't get the entire concept of an ATF. Like you, I have current favorites, even though I reach in the pool a LOT more often than you, but sometimes I find a girl with whom I just click. I am a pig so it usually doesn't last for long in my case before I am off finding some other woman I click with, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy it while it lasts.
The whole concept of an ATF who you gush over like your wife or GF that you are head over heels in love with is a foreign concept to me. Some guys talk about the hooker they fuck three or four times a years in the very same terms that most guys reserve for the woman they actually spend their life with.
there are lots of things one can seek in this hobby. I take it that you are happy with what you have with lots of ladies and that is great. I too have seen a lot of women (far more than I have reviewed here) and I've had a lot of fun with them. They have been terrific and i appreciate and thank all of them who have seen me. One lady, though, I just connected with, and we have a different type of relationship. I now prefer to see her on a regular basis, we travel together, we have gotten to know each other really well, and we communicate with each other about our lives outside of our sessions. For me, it's more fulfilling at this point in my life. If I hadn't met her, would I have an "ATF"? Probably not. I wasn't really seeking it, but it happened, and I am glad.
If every lady you've seen has been the exact same and interchangeable to you, then I'm surprised that you've stuck around for so long. I'd get bored real quick!

I would also like to point out that just because she is a monger's ATF does not mean that he is her ATF.
None are my "long lost loves", but I am happy for their friendship. Interchangeable? Perhaps, but I prefer to have a circle of friends rather than being just "once and done" most of the time.
... that someday you find a provider who is everything you've ever sought in a provider. And she for some strange reason (which we won't dwell on here) seems to really click with you also... and it's more than an act. Wouldn't you want to see her more than once... maybe several times? Maybe even on a regular basis, if that's practical?
If not... then ATF for you shall forever be just automatic transmission fluid.
