I love lingerie. Corsets, thigh highs, garters, shelf bras, teddies, the list goes on. However, more than one gentleman has told me he prefers completely nude, ready to rock and roll. So, I ask the folks here - when you arrive, what do you prefer to see under the robe - lingerie or nothing at all? Somewhere in between?
I don't need expensive lingerie, or lingerie at all for that matter, and I certainly I don't need Louboutins or Jimmy Choo...I don't need any of that crap.
Give me a girl in a nice pair of jeans with flats or an inexpensive heel or give me a low priced but nice sundress with some inexpensive sandals or flip flops.

Lost of girls have a cash flow problem in p4p and one of those items, on the expense side that be done away with or limited, is designer this or that, imo.

As is casual clothes. (Jeans, shorts, skirt, etc.) A simple sundress with no underwear is my favorite. Towels work too. It's all coming off anyway, and the easier and quicker it comes off, the better.

y question regarding "what to wear" when greeting a hobbyist is pointless. Hobbyists are turned on by so many different looks/ or attire. One hobbyist may want you to greet him dressed as if you were going out to a formal event. The next guy wants you to greet him in the "girl next door attire"' namely jeans/t-shirt/sneakers. The next guy loves undressing a woman in expensive lingerie (and all that goes with it). The next guy wants you to wear just a short sun dress (no panties/no bra underneath), so you can be naked in 5 seconds flat.
The best approach is to ask a hobbyist, once the appointment is confirmed, if he has any special wardrobe request. If not, my suggestion is to think the equivalent of business casual for a hobbyist (namely button down collared shirt, slacks, and loafers) This would prob. be a nice understated cocktail dress, a simple bra/panty set, and a nice pair of sandals. Don't look like a slob who just came back from the walk of shame and don't look like you are going to meet the President in the White House. Something in between should suffice most of us.
You ask different guys that question and you will receive different answers.
I have met some guys who love high end lingerie and there are others who don't know the different between Agent Provocateur and VS.
Other guys say they could care less about lingerie just get naked.
And then there are others who like a role-play specific outfit.
I always ask before meeting if there is any wardrobe request so I know what a guy likes or does not like.

... is this: please wear whatever makes you feel good, and sexy. I figure if the woman feels good about what she's wearing, it bodes well for our time together. 
But if it were up to me, and practical for the occasion (eg meeting at provider's in call), less is more. Especially on these hot summer days!

I love a woman who takes the time to put together a beautiful outfit the whole 9 yards. I tend to be more spirited and perform much better as well when that entire visual is present but that is my preference... Thigh highs and heels will drive me wild and I will work harder for mutual satisfaction.
..I usually say dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable. All I ask is hair back and no heels. One fantasy I do enjoy is if I am met in a terry cloth robe with nothing on underneath. That has actually happened 3 times. I pretty much have stopped asking.
Only a couple of the gals I see are really into it, but I appreciate the care they bring to it, and don't want them to change a bit.

When I book a provider, I am going with the menu and what you are offering. I don't order a steak at a chinese restaurant. Sometimes I like chinese - sometimes steak, often something different. If I am in the mood for what you are offering then I am in the mood for appropriate attire. I don't eat at a diner that promises they can fix everything.... just means they aren't any good at anything.
If you are a girly girl GFE - then yes, the corsets, garters, heels, whatever are a great thing. Possibly even an evening dress rather than a robe. In fact, I may have you carefully take off each and every part of it.... and give me a first rate tease. One of the pleasures of life - and if you are going to do that type of GFE, do it right.
On the other hand, if you are a kinky PSE slut then nekkid (or very close to it) is good. Nekkid with a collar and leash is better.....
Obviously there's a whole universe of things between those two extremes.
PS - I am a southerner - there is a distinct difference between nekkid and nude. Nude is unclothed. Nekkid means you are up to some fun..
My favorite dress is undress, but pretty lingerie can be sexy too, and it can be fun taking it off. However, sometimes, a woman is just so hot (or I am so horny) that I can't wait to undress her.

I'm a fan of lingerie. I'm totally into a feminine look. Granted, a girl wearing sweats and a t-shirt can achieve that as well, but I also like the lace and femininity of Victoria's Secret-type attire. My wife has no interest in wearing sexy or seductive items, so for me, it's part of the "missing what I don't get."
I'm not a huge fan of the more....costumed approach to lingerie, though. So, bra and panties, YES. Teddy, YES. Corset and garters? Sure, but simple and nice; I don't need someone to look like she just walked out of a 1850s saloon. LOL
And I have no fetish at all for footwear. Heels, stilettos, FMB's--nah. Nothing wrong with them, but they don't stir the loins, so to speak. (I believe that puts me in the minority.)
Just heightens the overall experience in my opinion.

Personally I'm just fine with opening a door and see a stark naked woman or just covered with a bathrobe only. There really is no need to impress me. Action speaks a lot louder than clothing.
OTH I also understand how many women really enjoy putting on sexy clothing and feel beautiful and attractive. Occasionally they excitedly and enthusiastically asked me my opinion about the new lingerie, new bikini or new hairstyle/color upon seeing me. Since it costs me nothing to be nice I would always pay them compliment telling them how sexy and attractive they look.
So ladies put on whatever that makes you feel good and don't care about whether the guys will be impressed. Chances are guys will be guys and they only care about your naked body anyway.
PS: However don't listen to some previous poster and put on jeans or other frumpy clothing that makes you look like a Walmart cashier or city bus driver. Sexy/slutty or naked but never, ever be boring GND (girl next door).
Everyone is different. Everyone has their own tastes and oponions. This thread proves it. Don't stuff yours down our throats. A lot of us find the GND look far from boring, and very sexy. To each his own, but for you to tell someone "never ever..." is pretty condescending.
