  This morning I woke up to the news of an earth-like planet that had been disvovered by the kepler satelite. I hate to think like a conspiracy nut (not really, conspiracies are kind of my guilty pleasure to entertain my thoughts with) but this could be a bit suspect.

 On another note the science freak in me loves the string theory and multi-dimension theories that this discovery would totally support.

String theory is largely based upon super symmetry, which evidence from the large hadron collider  is showing to be a bust.

Now if we could only get these lambda CDM neophytes to admit they are belief driven and not science driven we could start to make progress.

and one off my first thoughts was that since it is about twice as massive as Earth, a 100 lb spinner here is a 200 lb spinner there... if spinning is possible at twice the apparent weight!

The sun is also about 4% brighter, enough extra heat to boil away any surface energy. So, extra weight, high humidity and hot - imagine the sweat!
