Just curious how often people see this method used. Recently passed on a provider who would not accept a more common form of reference and demanded a selfie. Goes way past my comfort level.
but have a plenty of such requests to my regard. Needless to say that people who demand additional pics almost never make appointments. Xo
I know of a few providers who request photos, but none of them have it as a requirement. With that said, everyone screens differently I suppose. I personally wouldn't. It's understandable why this could make someone uncomfortable, so why go that route when there are so many other methods?
....but in my case I could see a non TER gal asking for one in lieu of references to prove that I am who I claim to be. I didn't send it, tho.
In one case the gal wanted to meet me at a neutral location (public park) and would need my photo to know whom she would be going up to. I did not know what her face looked like. Maybe it was unwise, but I decided to go ahead and send her my photo and we met and began a very nice relationship that lasted several years until she retired a few years ago.
In the other case, the gal wanted to be sure that I had "kind" eyes. I guess they passed.
I guess it goes without saying that if something makes you uncomfortable it is best not to proceed. What's the point after all
In my particular case - if you do employment verification - my picture is on my company website. Now - I will admit that it is almost 10 years old and I have gained a pound or three. Gee... sort of sounds familiar doesn't it...
You don't look like your pictures.....just kidding you.
you know how it is.... you get busy.... you forget to update those pictures. It happens to the best of us....

That what references are for, or in the alternative, that's what the long list of other women is for.
While I'm sure most providers are totally fine and to be trusted, since these are for meetings with someone I haven't even met yet, on the off chance a pic gets sent to that rare BSC provider lol, well, that's not a chance I'm able to take.
Who does not post her face online but receives a face pic request from a john she has not seen. So those of us who wish to remain unidentifiable (facial recognition etc.) we get it and I would not ask this of any john.
The obscured face pics are fine with me. I get the reasoning. There is enough uncertainty on both sides of the equation. Some people are good with sending face pics, sounds like we're not!
Mainly because I don't trust the taste of most reviewers. My standards are about as high as yours, and all the tens in the world from guys who are either near sighted or simply have no standards don't mean shit to me.
but that said, I also realize that the 'internet is forever" and I can't blame for a minute any lady who doesn't want to be labeled a hooker for the rest of her life as her hooker pictures follow her throughout life.
My picture has already been plastered all over the internet, so it's not the privacy issue that concerns me, I am simply not going to jump through the additional hoop of sending my pic to a hooker before she will see me. It all goes back to "I will NOT beg to pay for pussy"
You go "not going to do it". Same as every johns money is not good enough for us to see some guys. Most of us all have that one hoop we are not going to jump through and just walk away.

Aside from hearing more stories from gals than I care to count...when the bill(s) need to be paid they ALL cave in.
Unfortunately like many small business owners...few gals have enough put aside to not have to see someone they may really not want to.
I agree...I also would make a lousy hooker. Holding someones hand pretending that I like them...blecchh. And the emails/texts/calls...not a chance LOL
Fortunately the smart gals just do their thing...avoid the drama...pay their bills and enjoy their families. I just wish some of them would actually save up and have a serious exit strategy....and make it work.

Not 100% foolproof but it has been invaluable. From the style of the website, the actual wording, quite a few variables really, a hooker, this hooker can pretty much determine the type of guy who might contact me.
I know, some johns will refute that but since I am the one who is seeing the guys, I can tell you it really does. So I get very few douche bags and for that I am thankful. Doesn't stop the odd email with a request that I just shake my head over. I reply, then delete, then block.
I have set the hoops I will jump through and stuck by them and it has served me very well.
I wouldn't have a problem sending a selfie from the neck down, and in fact I did that once when a provider required it for screening (she only wanted to see "fit" guys). But no face shots. Just as I don't expect a provider to send me pics that show her face clearly.
That is clear in her ads. And in my experience, it's made crystal clear even if you talk in person that references, whitelists, etc. are not going to work. Again the provider in question has a long review history and most are very good. But this--along with her ads suddenly starting to show her face--dropped her off my radar. I completely understand providers not wanting to show face pics and fully support their decision.

This literally just happened to me in the past 24 hours. A well-known, popular and young provider in Las Vegas asked me for a copy of my photo ID as part of the pre-screening process. Is that normal? I have not been active in the hobby for several years, so I don't have recent references or "OK's." However, my employment is verified on P411. She didn't think that was enough. Furthermore, she didn't approve of my "Yahoo" work email and the fact that the company (a small business) I work for has no website. I think she was being difficult and was looking for an excuse not to see me. Perhaps she wanted to see what I look like before deciding but didn't want to directly ask for a photo? My name clearly indicates my ethnicity, I am not of Caucasian descent, hence the reason I mention it. Now, to be clear, I have no issue showing my ID to a provider upon meeting in person or even before the actual meeting in order to show her that I am whom I claim to be. However, to want me to email a copy of my photo ID ahead of time, I think it's unusual. Anyone have any similar experiences?
