So I am not a very big drinker but the other day, a client of mine pretty much bought every kind of "Beer" so I could taste & find what I prefer, this also was my first ever time drinking beer.
I found "Blue Moon" & "Red's Apple Ale" to be my favorite, I can't deal with the extremely bitter after-taste most beers have, so these 2 were just right for me. I like the smoothness & sweetness of Red's, & I like that Blue Moon has pretty much no after taste.
In the end, I would have to pass on a beer if offered or it will take my sorry lightweight butt some hours to get to just the middle of the cup! haha & just in my opinion, I think of Beer as a man's drink but I personally know some woman who can throw down with the best of them!

I don't do beer mostly but I love lighter beers if I partake. Draft beers specifically. Bottles are never that great to me. No matter the type, I do not enjoy bottled beer.
Hmmmm, this thread has me wanting a nice cold draft beer. Haven't had one in a minute. Wow!
On another beverage note, I got asked how I like my coffee and I replied "sweet and strong just how I like my sexual partners".
Like you, I'm a total lightweight and not much of a beer drinker. I like Redd's, too, but mostly I stick to hard ciders. I figure, if I'm only going to manage to get 2 drinks down before I fall asleep, I had damn well better enjoy them!
If you haven't, you should definitely try Strongbow Honey & Apple Cider. It's crisp, sweet, and refreshing with no aftertaste. And it's not a "knock you on your ass" kind of a drink, either. If you don't like it, you can send it my way lol.

I got turned onto Strongbow when I was golfing in Scotland at St. Andrews about 12 years ago.
I have loved it ever since.
But, I will say that I don't agree that it's not a "knock you on your ass" kind of drink.
It goes down so smooth and easy that it is very easy to "overindulge" and not really be aware until to late.
But, it does taste good going down.

I have never in my life been able to finish a beer. The taste makes me nauseous. A guy took me the "best" Belgian bar in our city, and he was going on and on about how great Belgian beer is and that id love it.... YUCK!!! Reds Apple ale sounds drinkable

& it happened to have a more fruity flavor to it, it was also smooth going down for me, meaning no after-taste at all, that was my first time ever drinking & haven't drank again yet.
So I can't really say have developed a taste for it yet. It was just the easiest for me to drink of the bunch... lol

I'm more likely to puke than blackout. My funniest drunk story is when I was college one of my housemates came home stinking drunk and went from place to place in the house puking until he passed out on the sofa. One of my other housemates actually made a list of all the places he puked and taped it to his head with a note to clean it all up. The rest of us just watched the whole thing go down as we tried to watch Saturday Night Live (original cast version so there's an age check for ya)

Huh, wish someone would have told me that 30 years ago. Gosh, you know what? O should sue the beer companies for giving me a gut, cause you know it can't be my fault.
However, I am fond of this microbrewery in central VA called Devil's Backbone and their offerings.
That being said, beer is only my secondary drink. I primarily consume Whiskey and Club Soda (no lime or lemon)

I was an 18 year old idiot and my equally idiotic 20something boyfriend and I wanted to have some silly fun. So we made "Magic Potion" which means you pour anything liquid in the house into a pitcher and drink it
So we poured in some kind of whiskey, along with cool-aid, milk, pancake syrup, icecream... It was completely hilarious. And we actually drank it.
Keg stands were too extreme for me at that age. Lol. Your magic potion is way too extreme for me but if I would have ever done it, it would have been during those years too!! Ahhh, the memories of not giving a hoot and being able to! Lol.
Maybe I can persuade you to agree that humor is in the eye of the beerholder?

Some of them tell me they chug down a few brews before the big event with their John to help with urine flow.
'Miller 64' is their preferred grog.
The high water content keeps the urine clear and helps fool the johns into thinking its female ejaculate.
Same beer, different brand. I am an Ale drinker, although I can't stand IPA's, just too hoppy for my taste. If a resturant only has Bud, Bud Light, Miller, Miller Light, Coors, Coors Light, I won't drink beer there, it's like water.
My preferred poison is Bourbon though, yummy.

I like my beer dark and my women all the colors of the rainbow. Individual colors of the rainbow. Not that I meant I actually like rainbow colored women. Although, if I ever met one... hmmm... maybe some bodypaints... interesting. Anyway, you get my point. Hopefully.
I like Guiness, it's pretty much my favorite. I also like New Belgium 1554 and Warsteiner Dunkel. I'm not a beer snob (or any other kind of snob) so I guess I'm pretty easy to please. I just happen to prefer the darker beers.
As far as drunken stories, I have quite a few. Most I wouldn't share in polite company though. Let's just say my first provider experience involved much alcohol, my best friends, and a dare. And it has all been downhill from there. LOL

Or Pilsner Urquell if you like a heavier brew. Domestic, any Sam Adams beer is usually good.
I always wondered why women don't enjoy beer, judging just from providers who generally suggest wine if asked. But on a hot summer afternoon, beer or rum hits the spot.
Belgium has a really rich tradition of sweet, light, and sour beers that vary widely but are NOT bitter with hops like the trend that dominates so much today. I had a nice sour example the other day. These are sipping ales--not for mass consumption. If you are searching bottled varieties the Peche (Peach) lambic, the kriek (cherry), the framboise (raspberry) cassis (grape) and pomme (pear) are widely found in bottle form from Lindemann's. Go easy on them, a 10 ounce glass is plenty--they will taste more like champagne than ale to most.
Kolsch is lighter german ale which many "non-beer lovers" enjoy in my experience, but not often found in cans or bottle form in this country.
Curious traveler has a number of ales with fruit in them. Leinenkugel's summer shandy and Berry Weiss might suit your tastes too.
My ATF beer is Dragon's Milk by New Holland Brewing. Can't get it in California, though.

atever is available really. Domestic, import beer. The yellow color ones, the darker, bitter ipas, cheap, expensive, well know and unknown or from somewhere else, draft. I've tried beers made in places like BJ's and some beer from a the Seventh bail nude bar in Hollywood.
Angry Orchard and hard ciders. I like more sweet beers and wines.
Had Blue moon back in 2011. It was ok.

They didn't Pasteurize their produce, which made it much more tasty if you could get it kept cold
I love beer. Have loved it since I was allowed my first taste at around age 11 or 12. Majored in tavern in college. Blatz, PBR, Schlitz, Old Milwaukee, Heilmann's Old Style, Bud and Michelob...to name a few that were staples back in the day. A trunk load of Coors brought back by friends on a ski trip to Colorado in the 70's was a rare treat, and Heilmann's Special Export was considered a premium beer. Then some regional producers started to distribute over a wider geographic area and it became Rolling Rock, and Henry Weinhards, and Olympia, along with Coors everywhere. There was Heinekin, and Modelo, Dos Equis and Corona. Somewhere in the mid 90's I attended a beer fest in Morro Bay, CA and my beer world changed. Damn...Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, the best damn beer I'd ever tasted in my life. The craft beer movement took off and now, well now it's beer heaven for us suds lovers. My taste buds have changed as I've explored the many styles of craft brews. I've traveled through red ales, through dark beers, through lagers and pilsners, through ryes and wheats, and have found my way to hops, hops, and more hops. These days it's double IPA's, Imperial IPA's, and the epitome of all that a beer should be...barleywine. Mmmmmm....mmmmm. Yesterday, after my midday rendezvous with a lovely provider I headed to my favorite pub and enjoyed a draft Chicken Killer Barleywine from Sante Fe Brewing Co. Now that's what I'm talking 'bout! "Great minds think a pint!"
Miller lite it tastes like a water down version of OB a Korean beer.... But I beer & whiskey a great combo with great friends or a HAWT fuck buddy of my choice wooooooo whooooooo!!!!

I get mean when drunk. I don't like how it makes me feel. So my "beer" of choice is Diet Coke. I will share a drunk story. I was drinking in a bar trying to forget some things. I was way drunk. When my boss at the time came in. He kept looking at me. It pissed me off so I punched him in his face and laid him flat. Luckily he didn't press charges but I was so very fired and word spread in the small town. I couldn't find work. Lost my apartment. Because of other poor choices I had nowhere to go and ended on the street. There is a drunk story. I don't like drinking and only do so alone when thinges look so bad to me I juse don't care. I rarely do it. I haven't drank a drop in the last three years. I love Diet Coke. That is my drink of choice. Not criticizing anyone else for liking the stuff. It just isn't for me.
25 years ago there were very few decent choices. Today there are almost too many. (I said almost!)
