lose recruits if Carroll leaves. This could definitely create waves in the recruiting process if indeed it happens. Meyer's flip-flop had a similar effect, although that seems to have straightened itself out now that Meyer is staying.

decommit from one school and commit to another. These kids have to be babysat until signing day! In many cases, they'll transfer if they're not getting the playing time they think they're ENTITLED to. It's becoming more and more noticeable as time goes on.
