Maybe I am being naive here but wouldn't that mean that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be out of work?? Seems to me that they would need to find another racket.

People of that ilk will continue their activities. They will just say one person being president doesn't change anything.
Yeah, I agree they won't stop trying to milk the race baiting racket for all its worth.
But I really believe that an Obama victory will result in millions of white people saying that they have had enough with this whole "all of the world's problems are the fault of white people" nonsense. They will just not react in such a submissive behavior the next time a Jena Louisiana or Duke rape allegation comes up. I don't know maybe I give these people too much credit.
However it may be that the media is neutralizing their most effective weapon,really their only weapon, and that is fear of the smear. I think they might end up having to retire some of their past tactics as it will have lost its sheep herding-like effect. That will be poetic justice in light of the media's slavish support of Obama.
but they will lose alot of thier credibility, relagating them to the check out stands where they should have been all along.
