I shave but I don't do everything. I like leaving some hair behind.
I know most providers would like everything down there to be bare as a baby's butt. But I have never try shaving down there. I am sure that I would cut my balls off if I tried. I used Nair hair removal cream one time & got a ready nasty skin burn and it was nowhere near a baby's butt. I had to cancel an app because of it. Now I trim the hair down there and then use an electric trimmer afterwards to get it as close as I can without cutting myself. I would guess that there will probably be 1/4" to 3/8" down there and I probably did not get everything ( about 85% trimmed ). Although I have never gotten any complains from providers I often wonder???? Is it prickly when they are performing a BJ any suggestions?
Also my back door is kind of hairy too, and I am not a contortionist so I leave it alone. But I do not ask for any rimming nor do I want any......
except for the balls...just my opinion...being trimmed is great...not only does it make every thing more appealing, but i will not gag on a piece of hair or get it stuck between my teeth
Nair balls indeed. Just use a straight razor, they work best on rounded surfaces. Finish it off with a bracing splash of witch hazel.
I use a Gillette body razor and find it easiest while soaking in a bathtub.
I think it is very worthwhile. Not only do providers seem to appreciate it, but it definitely improves my experience as well.
I have been doing it over a year and always shave the night before I see a provider (in case I do get a small cut, which is rare).
Only recently, I tried shaving the rear and it was not as difficult as I thought it would be, but I am in fairly good shape. Benefit from that is that it makes it easier to keep clean.
in our area, there are a few rub and tug ladies who also do manscaping. I now shave myself and initially there were a few nicks but now I realize I only need to just graze that area and the hair comes off pretty easily. I believe we men think we must shave that area as we shave our faces and believe me..........I press down pretty hard when I shave my face........and shave in multiple directions so it is very smooth. Our private areas do not need this type of pressure.
Then there is the back door. Me too.........it's a forest down there............but..........after a complete shower (yup, TMI), I can sit on the toilet and pretty much get that area too. The key is keeping the blade as hair free as possible and the hot water in the sink running to clean it off.
Oh and the first time.........if it is like the Amazon jungle..........like mine.........you probably want to trim it with scissors first.
Too much information............but you sounded sincere..........and I would have liked to know this same information a while back.......so there just may be other hobbyists in the same boat.

Really helps to stop any unwanted hitchhikers. I am not into rimming, so hair in my teeth is not a concern from that area.
Also anyone shaving the anal region...be careful shaving too close because you can get a nasty ingrown. Super good attention to washing works very well
I trim everything surrounding my dick and then shave it and my balls smooth ( being very careful if course). Once you get the hang if it it's easy

Be sure to lather well and use a new blade, because you will not have to use as much pressure then. I was like you at first, but then I learned.
Also be sure to leave a landing strip for gals who like to do cowgirl, and don't want to have any stubble rub against their clitoris
The girls seem to like the shaved when they do BLS. I've asked many if they care one way or the other. The replies varied from they didn't care at all to they much prefer the shaved guy.
I prefer my women to be fully shaved. I like to DATY and don't like to floss. Doesn't matter to me if they're P4P or non-P4P. I still like what I like.

Coconut oil or grab a leaf from an aloe plant to shave. Works great
kept the kitty trimmed fairly short but soft. There was never any problem finding the girly parts. I don't know how she did it but she had fine light auburn hair if that makes any difference. Maybe she shampoo'd & conditioner? I like it much better than bare.
I've been shaving down there most of my adult life, long before I entered the hobby world. It makes me feel clean, increases sensitivity a bit, and (since I start perspiring when the Farhenheit goes over 60) it makes things a little fresher.
Recently, I started going the whole route: Every few weeks I go for a complete "boyzilian". It really doesn't hurt; you get more pain in a dentist's chair than you do from waxing.
The ladies love it..
