I feel the same way although only number 1 applies to me. I am fairly new to this (9 months) and I always knew that I was a foreplay and quick draw type of hobbyist. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion and you somewhat build a more than platonic relationship with your picks (I think).

1) Once is enough...two can usually be had, but even if not, the fun in trying is more than worth it!

2) The chit-chat and cuddling is where the connection and bonding gets established.

3) Every lady you meet is special in her own way.  Nothing more needs to be said.

4) I have a drink or two, and maybe a toke also.  The afterglow is part of what makes playing this game great, at least from my perspective.

Honestly I am much happier in a loving committed relationship for some of the reasons you listed.  The hobby to me is a filler for in between.  

When I'm in love with a woman who can come close to matching my sexual desires and needs I don't even think about other women, but in the absences of that, I"m horny about 87% of the time every day and am pretty much willing to screw any female with a pulse.

Since I've been married, and have had a number of long lasting relationships I get that need filled and when 'm single the hobby lets me get my inner freak on.  Years ago I was doing orgies, gang bangs, three ways and anything else i could think of, and yes, it became numbing.
