I would have said SURE - you show me your DL and I will show you mine.  Rest assured there are very few ladies in this business operating by their reel names.  Why should we?

Very truly yurs,

she tells me then that the name on my drivers license must match the name in our correspondence. I tell her it doesn't. I do not put my real name on the web for these encounters. I tell her I will be glad to show her my license and real name in person, but I will not put it on the internet. She had pre-screened me on my TER white list and
 P411. She cancelled.
Do you guys really put your real name out there? In light of the Ashley Madison hack, it is proven to be highly risky.

Hunter S Thompson was no moron:

1) Never trust a cop in a raincoat.
2) Beware of enthusiasm and of love, both are temporary and quick to sway.
3) If asked if you care about the world's problems, look deep into the eyes of he who asks, he will never ask you again.
4) Never give your real name.
5) If ever asked to look at yourself, don't look.
6) Never do anything the person standing in front of you can't understand.
7) Never create anything, it will be misinterpreted, it will chain you and follow you for the rest of your life.

Now to my stance:
Guys, any time a girl had your real info she can then do as she pleases with it. There are 1st hand situations where ladies have GIVEN me that info for NO REASON. I did not ask. I did not want to know. I asked if this person was OK and suddenly I am sent their work info, real name and all. Additionally this info can be used AGAINST you - more so than just demanding a 10/10 review.

You're clad she canceled. Trust me.
In this business if you can be properly screened with referencing there is ZERO reason in my opinion to know any real names. Then again if your date is a hacker, it won't matter anyway. LOL

That's just my .02

Ive had clients who wouldnt give references and didnt have any site accounts, wanting me to screen through employment and those are the times I ask to see ID upon arrival to ensure they are who they say :x

No provider has ever asked to see my ID. I have seen some adds that said it would be required. Once I saw one of those ladies and when I got there she didn't ask. Maybe she was astounded by my dashing good looks? Na. That ain't it. Anyway, I think you dodged a bullet.

Never been asked for my real name; and would not give it if asked. Why not ID her, so others will be forewarned???

That is hard for me to believe that she would do that to you!!  I wonder what she was thinking?  Not enough reviews?  White List rather weak? I would NEVER give my real name.  She probably wasn't that hot anyway???I'd say go local....

But she has 100 reviews.

Isn't that funny.

She must have been confused about something.  That's the only thing I can think of.  You are SO screenable.

But she is definitely hot.

Well for one, she missed out on a wonderful encounter with a wonderful man!

And secondly, she must not have a true understanding of what *discretion* in this hobby means. Because expecting anyone to disclose their *REAL* info. is not discreet. Esp. online.

The whole AMadison issue. Is the very reason why I refuse to accept mens work/home/personal info.
Hobby info is best.  And as long as the hobbyists provider references CAN/DO vouch for him.
Then his personal data when he shows up should never play a factor in meeting.

Rather, and I say this with all seriousness. Ladies ought to focus more on getting the guys accurate physical description and verifying that with the references. And using that as a verifying tool to WHOM they open the door to. Than worrying about needing his DL/RW info.

Discretion is key in this hobby.

Bill, you did good, handsome. Not giving her your personal info.  She missed out on a wonderful way to enjoy wine with you!!  ;)

She probably just got really spooked for some reason or another, so canceled. I wouldn't read into it too much as you have a wonderful reputation.
