Well, bostont001,
I do believe that certain foods alter the acidity level of the sperm [remind me of the one time I had an oral episode with someone who had eaten Chinese food in the days of MSG - I almost threw up, LOL,] but the issue is if that change in acidity levels will affect the vagina. Vaginal PH is acidic as it is, so if the semen is so acid that it's burning, it'd be burning you too!

If you're really worried, talk to a urologist. Or send her to an OB-Gyn for further testing. Otherwise, follow the instructions in the link.

Good luck,
the Love Goddess

Any info on why my semen burns the inside of my partners vagina when we make love? we both have had check ups are both healthy.
any info would be appreciated.

I posted this on your general board thread.  I think  it's normal.

A: My guy's semen often stings my privates. Why?

Q: A stinging sensation probably means that you weren't adequately lubricated during sex, resulting in tiny tears along the vaginal wall. "When semen gets in these abrasions, they start to burn," explains Glenn Schattman, MD, associate professor of ob-gyn at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City. Make sure you postpone penetration until you're really aroused or use a fragrance-free, water-based motion lotion (flavored ones often contain chemicals that irritate your skin, making the burning even worse). If you're still stinging, you might be allergic to your man's semen. It's a very rare condition, but using condoms will keep his semen from inflaming your vaginal area.

He mistakenly posted this on the national board, yesterday, and took one hell of a beating, and I might add, it was apparently unjustified. I, for one, would like to offer an apology.

scorched, but unharmed. thanks for the apology...

Sorry for the confusion, bostont001,
but apparently you finally found this board!

Rather than engage in lengthy explanations, I have attached a wonderful link for you. In brief: your partner may have a semen allergy. And, in fact, she could be specifically allergic [or sensitive, at least] to YOUR semen. Been there meself during those 'unsafe' sex years of the early 70s, LOL. Some guys' spoo just buuuurns. Yes, it does happen. See explanations, prevention, etc.

Another explanation may simply be that you are screwing like rabbits, and that all that action dries out your partner's vagina - despite her intial gushing from excitement. Hence, if she is not adequately lubricated during THE ENTIRE INSERTIVE SEQUENCE, yep, the sperm will itch and burn on raw, micro-abraded vaginal tissue. In that case, not to worry. Find a good lubricant - no funny stuff like flavorings or other odd goop - and insert prior to action.

Now, if all else literally fails - go get some lambskin condoms. Yes, they do smell a little bit like Lamb Chop, but they are slithery, much more sensate than latex condoms, non-allergic and provide protection against pregnancy [but not STDs, alas.]

Other than that, have fun,
the Love Goddess

LG, thanks for then info and link. Do you think there could be an correlation to the foods or liquids consumed that can change the acidity level of the semen?
