If you are referring to the rate on the provider's profile as opposed to an ad she just put up.

The reason is that profiles can have information that is years old, and for whatever reason it never gets updated.

Her website in that case would be the more accurate source.

yes, it common and totally understand the confusion...no one likes to talk about that aspect, but we do need a clear understanding of each other...just simply tell them that you are confused and ask what is correct...sometimes they change it in one place but forget to change it in the other, so maybe in that way you reminded them

Sometimes the rates are different in the regular ads. Just ask her.

I'd go with the web site.  However, Gals often run Specials, some times different Specials at the same time on dfferent Ad Venues...  so clarification of the Ads may be required.  One caution:  I've found low priced Ads are often for lesser times or lesser services.  You can not really ask even if you are face to face...  so go prepared to pay the regular rate.

Let's face it..........we must be much, much, more direct.  The business end of being a hobbyist, while necessary (or else there is no transaction) can be a big turn off.  Why.......because it makes us think too much and diverts necessary brain cells to things other than the sexual encounter we are signing up for.

For me............upsell can put an immediate damper on things..........if you know what I mean.  I arrive on time and with my best foot forward and am expecting to pay exactly what we agreed to.  And........I fully understand that could be just me.

But......let's be honest about provider pricing.........in its most unappealing terms.......it is a business issue, just like any other business and we pay whatever the market will bear.  That means whatever the provider will accept and whatever we agree to pay.

This past winter I had my home painted.  During the spring and summer months...........the painter wanted to charge me 45% more than he eventually settled for during his off-season months.  Additionally, the whole process was subject to a certain degree of negotiation.  When he was finished it was an amazing job and we were both happy........he was going through a very slow period.

Providers are still in a business...........and sometimes their business is slow.......and they would willingly accept less than they publish on their website.  Often this is why they submit a Backpage ad and that rate appears lower.  Additionally, some of us men........yeah, I will admit it...........are one and done.........so we may pay for an hour........but end up spending considerably less time with a provider (no need for that debate about paying for time vs. services).

So........to me........and this is just one man's opinion..........we find a way to discuss the price in a manner that will not insult the provider (they deserve all the respect we can pay them) but will end up being something that is mutually comfortable.  I for one........never pay more than 200...........right another debate........and I have been with some amazing providers.  Yes..........I must "shop around" and not be too direct........but for me, anyway it truly works.

We ladies cannot update our profiles on TER like we can put etc
This is a huge pain in the ass to be honest and I truly hope it will be remedied with the new site.

As it currently stands, every time we want to update I formation we have to email admin with details we need changed and wait for them to correct the info.
This can take up to 24 hours if they are busy.

It's not helpful at all as sometimes we do have a slow weeks and want to offer a lower rate as incentive... but the back and forth with admin makes me choose not to update on TER which is disappointing as this site is where at least 80% of my business comes from.

on other sites I can change my rates for a day or a few hours or offer special rates for certain times...another feature not offered at TER.

I don't keep rates on my website, I figure anyone who finds my website has seen me on a review site and got my rates there. And I offer different pricing at different sites ..sometimes as incentive to get clients from different regions, reviews on other sites etc.
