Previously posted a thread "So many hobbyists"

When I posted this thread, I did not intend to put anyone on the spot.........promise.  But some of the responses were rather comical......sorry that sounds judgmental.

Like my dog ate my homework.........or something.  If one chooses not to review for whatever reason, that clearly is their choice whether or not others agree is irrelevant.

But my question was........if you do write reviews.........why post here with an alias and not in a way which allows your comments here to be cross-referenced with your reviews?  It does allow the reader of our posts to establish a frame of reference and maybe even capture our perspective.

Is it privacy?  Could it be that some hobbyists do NOT review.........could it be that some hobbyists post here and NOT associate their reviews (by using an alias) with their posts........because of privacy?

Whether or not we write a review.........or even how we write that review.......says so much about us as human beings.  In context even we of just average intelligence can read between the lines through both posts and reviews.  The more we know gives us more insight into this hobby

... for me, it's a matter of privacy--for myself, and for the providers I mention in my posts. There's many threads where I think a reply calls for me to share intimate details of my experiences with providers.  Details that go beyond what I've put into my reviews.  I don't think it's necessary, or appropriate, for me to identify the provider(s)... either directly, or indirectly by posting under my review handle so that others can look at my reviews and see who I'm talking about.

If you doubt this happens, I can assure you it does happen.  It happened to me recently when I decided to post something under my review handle, and some nosy guy decided he'd figured out the provider I was talking about and shared that info with the TER community.  Turns out there was no way he could have figured out with any certainty which provider I was talking about, but it didn't keep him from trying.

My reviews are available to all TER members, whether or not I make every post under my review handle.  My reviews reveal a lot about me and what providers can expect from me, so I have no problem sharing my review handle with providers who ask for it.  If after reading my reviews a provider decides not to see me, I figure it's for the best.

If you want to capture my perspective, it's easy to do so by looking at a few of the posts made under my alias.  You don't need my review history for that.

As you said, it's each person's choice whether to review or not review... and whether to post under their review handle or use an alias, some of the time or all of the time.

Thank you for the insight.  Sounds like we have the same perspective when it comes to protecting providers.  They take more than their share of risks.

Everyone else is already taken.

I hide behind no one, I'm often too honest for my own damn good and as one of my favorite people once said to me "I own my own words".

I was told by some of the other girls that if a guy sees TS girls they won't get seen by the real girls

but fuck them. I sure will see you. Hell, if she is hot enough, bring her too!

Some view it much like BBFS. I get that. I won't see guys who do BBFS if I am aware of it.

But seriously, fly me out to see these amazing TS gals. Some look better than a GG. :D

If so why not think about something more important like the origin of life, war and peace, religious effect on culture etc...

There are thousand of men and each one has a different reason for writing/not writing review and how they do it.

Knock yourself out if you insist

Apparently.........many of US have some extra time available.........we read/post here.......and spend time seeing providers.

But am fully invested in the concept of free will.........we are ALL free to do as we please........well, most of the time, anyway.

The samurai will stand there in front of you with all his pedigree, tell you why he gave a shit review score and challenge you to a duel of empty threats.
The ninja will just drop a few bad review scores on your ass, and disappear in a cloud of smoke after he done hacked the shit out of your profile.
Just kidding around here.

I think you are over thinking the alias bit.  I mean, who the fuck knows anything about the alias TLH, except yourself and the whores you've fucked?  Hell, some of them may not even realize you wrote a review of them, or may not even care if they did.

I don't know dude, but you may want to lighten up on your concerns over why people review their sexual escapades or not

I like the ladies I am reviewing to know who it is that is leaving the review. If things went well, and I leave a good review, chances are I will book her again. Therefore I use my normal TER handle.

However, all of my other social media interaction with the hobby is anonymous and under this alias(twitter, tumblr, wordpress, etc).  I am sure if someone did their homework, they could figure out who I am pretty easily. I am betting most people just don't care enough about me to do the research. So my anonymity remains.

I could remain completely anonymous, by staying out of social media completely. However, I have found it helpful to talk about what I have encountered as a noob to this hobby in the past year.

Also, since I am only a year into the hobby, TER was the second account I signed up (the first was NR).  My alias didn't exist yet. When I contacted TER support about masking my handle somehow, they suggested this alias feature.
