Yes I laugh when I see gals answer every single ISO Local Post. The majority of the time they don't even fit the ISO.
I am laughing at self because I have only answered 2 ISO posts ever (both via pm). One of those times I didn't quite fit the ISO but I was interested in the poster, based off prior posts. Figured I'd give it a shot.
I "sort of" agree with you. If you aren't even close to the ISO, not even remotely in the area or ever will be, or if you are the type who answers every single ISO post, you come across as needing business.
Although I could understand mentioning self if you are pretty close to what is wanted.
Know how I view the Hobby? If you treat every guy great and aim for regulars, you won't need to ask every single guy to call you (of which half already said you are not even close to his type, no matter what type you are). You'll be too busy with regulars and will have little or no time for drumming up new guys. A very simple thing that some do not grasp. *** Again, this is about the ones who respond to every single ISO post. I completely understand if a new gal who has no or little reviews, is trying to get her name out there and find some guys.

sometimes it's an indy that claims to be "all things to all people" other times you have an agency that seems to answer every single ISO post on their regional board.
You are absolutely correct about how desperate it makes them look, and desperate is NOT sexy, not for either a man or a woman.

I get the same bewshit when trying to find domestic help on CL. I've seen the ones who respond with "I know I'm late for the party, but....", days after the ISO OP left town. Then there the ones who will hit a tri-state area hard with "I can be there this evening" no matter which corner of the state the OP is in. Hell, with that kind of action, it starts to make sense why some girls have to cancel because of car trouble.
I remember they used to refer to James Brown as the hardest working man in show business. I sort of think about these providers that hit every ISO in that way.

I know many providers seem to do this but, I truly only do when I fit what they are looking for. Desperate I am not! Just trying to keep it classy!
