I'm just repeating what my doc says, although I've heard from other sources that injections can cause Peyronies. I know that injections can cause scar tissue if not done properly.

I take two Sudafed tablets at around the three hour mark.

I know a lot of guys my age who have no problems with their "wedding tackle", but aren't having sex anymore. Why can't they have ED, and not those of us who are still horny? ;)

I have read several articles on using injections as a cure for ED.   I have read several of the treads.
What I would ask is from those who have used this procedure is the logistics, specifically as it relates to this Hobby
If I am visiting a Provider at her incall. I have read that it must be refrigerated,  would you have to take it in a cooler
What is the time frame, could I stop at a restroom just before arrival and give myself the injection there instead of at the Incall
I can't help but imagine that walking into an incall with a cooler and excusing myself to the bathroom would, at the very least be a buzzkill,  and would probably raise some legitimate questions

Again with the the time frame, would I  walk out of the bathroom with a, ' third leg '
Does it allow multiple pops. Does the erection remain between pops
Any other questions or issues that I have not considered would be appreciated
I would also ask that any Providers add any comments that would add to this
I know that the pills are not working, but I don't want to try something that is not viable
Thank you for any comments and advice

I've been using trimix for about a year with good results.
1. Don't worry about carrying a big cooler. You can buy a very small insulated bag or even wrap it in a wool sock. It does not have to remain frozen until you use it. Check in the Over 60 Board for a thread.
2. It takes me about 15-20 minutes for it to work. . When your urologist gives you the script you will have to go back to have a demonstration. You will find out how long it takes then.
3. Ask your provider? I learned about trimix from one of mine.
4. You remain hard between pops. At 83, I'm a one and done sort of guy anyway.
5. Ask your urologist any questions you might have. Also you will have to get this at a Compounding Pharmacy and they will also answer many questions.
6.Don't worry, the needle is very small and it is no big deal. Just a slight prick on you prick,

I salute you.

At 83 and still chasing babes you are a testimony to living life to the fullest.

Cheers to your many more years of good health.   :-D

I better go to work, if by chance  I live long enough to retire, my life will be brutal
  when I'm broke.

Thanks Quad, Tomorrow is my birthday and guess what I'll be doing, either tonight or tomorrow depending my ATF's sitter.

I'd reword that---"The ladies are still giving it to me" The pleasure that is, and what I give them, in addition to $$. I think they enjoy it too.

I have no answers, only more questions.

Wouldn't there be a good possibility of a bloody spot from the needle entry if you punctured yourself in her bathroom?

When I get a vaccine shot in my shoulder at a physicians office, my nurse  places a band aid
on the spot. When I remove the band aid there's always a small red spot.

It would be a bummer caught by LE injecting yourself in a public restroom, thrown in jail with a raging hard on and Bubba misinterpreting your desires.

Why not inject yourself in your car before you enter her incall ?
  After installing privacy curtains.

If the needle is so small it won't leave a mark or cause you to bleed I  thought of a solution to the cooling dilemma, if you would rather not install car curtains.

Transport the Trimix in a cooler. When you arrive at your destination transfer the Trimex to a sock and place the needle with a small amount of dry ice inside the sock.
Place the sock you know where.
She'll think  you are a rock star.

Tell your provider you need a quick shower, to warm your blue balls.

2 comments. sitting in a car and trying to inject a needle in a limp weeny might be tricky, depending on flaccid weeny's length. If you are circumcised it is easier than when dealing with the foreskin.

After you remove the needle you squeeze  your thumb over the injection site, just for a few seconds to make sure you didn't hit a tiny blood vessel. The injection site is too small to even see where it was.

I'd be willing to bet that once you have been shown how to do it by your urologist you won't have many questions. When you walk out of the doc's exam room with a smile on your face and a bulge in your trousers, your apprehension should be gone.

Before I learned of Trimix, I could get an erection from pills but it was really difficult to get an orgasm. With the Trimix it is easier.
Even with Trimix I don't have the rigidity I had when I was 70 but I manage to have fun.

I have had several clients who use this medication. They do go into the bathroom at my house or my in call to inject themselves.  I think how well it works varies quite a lot from person to person. I had one client who needed to use this in combination with a penis pump (a very good one-professional grade, doctor recommended) and cock rings.  It was a bit of work for him, but so what?  We had an hour and if it took him 10 or 15 minutes to achieve an awesome erection, then that's just fine with me!

If there is a spot of blood, just apply pressure for 60 seconds and it will go away. You can stop the bleeding from a discontinued IV by applying pressure for a few seconds even for a patient who's taking blood thinners and IVs leave big puncture holes compared to a trimix injection.

Many of them have told me they are doing this.  Usually they are still getting used to it.  So I suppose there have been many more who have already gotten good at it who don't feel the need to mention it anymore.

More power to all of you older men who are doing what you need to do to take control of your own sexuality! We only live once and we should live life to the fullest.

I have recommended Viagra and trimix too many clients.   When it comes to health issues we all need to be practical.  There is nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about.  Hopefully the ladies You see will be knowledgeable and professional, but if they aren't, maybe you will have to be the one to educate them. Most  ladies in this business should realize that dealing with ED issues.

Do you know that all it takes is one bad fall off the bike as a child to damage a major vessel in the cock and create diminished blood flow issue for the rest of the guy's life? As a nurse I used to work on the surgical floor of a hospital where I cared for patients who had revascularization surgeries on their penises.  People came from all over the world to have the surgery done by this specialist. Young men, too.

What I want to know is...how are you going to use that big hard cock on me once you get it that way?

Every provider I've seen has said that other customers do injections. It's never been an issue.

I  highly recommend a device called "Inject-Ease". You fill your syringe, put it in the device, press it against your penis and push a button. The needle is inserted quickly, and at the right angle. I was fumbling before I had the device, and sometimes didn't hit the right spot. Hasn't happened since I started using the device.

I developed Peyronie's disease (bent penis; look it up) last January. I'm seeing a specialist in a city 300 miles away every two weeks. He says that the Peyronies disease was likely caused by the injections. Just FYI.

I like the injections better than pills, as you can vary the duration of your injection by varying the dosage. Just don't do so much that you go over four hours. Take a look at some Youtube videos on priapism to see why.

Was that because of frequency or a reaction to the medicine or a reaction of some kind?

No, I don't inject often. The doctor has been treating Peyronies since the 1970s and said that he's certain the injections cause scar tissue or plaque to build up. That's what causes Peyronies. He said it doesn't necessarily build up at the injection spots. In my case I got scar tissue back towards the base, where I never inject.

Is he right? I don't know. His treatment is working, where other doctors want to do surgery or do the Xiaflex injections, which in 14% of men cause fractures of the penis. I don't like those odds.

I come from a family that is cursed with Dupuytren's contracture (DC). Peyronie's disease is thought by many medical sources to be related. DC  causes the connective tissue around tendons in the hands and feet to contract the digits down and if not surgically treated will lose the mobility of the fingers. I have had 12 hand surgeries but I finally stopped getting the operations.. My father, sister and brother have all had it. IT IS NOT caused by an injection of anything. I doubt that the specialist has proof positive that  Peyronie's is caused only by injections alone.
RE:Trimix causing 4 hour erection. I've never tried for that long but if it lasting more than you want it I have been advised to take a couple of sudafed (decongestive) pills.
While I'm not a medical researcher and I haven't played one, and I don't sleep in motels ( I play in them), I am a research biologist and during my PhD training I taught histology and other pertinent courses to pre-med students.

Don, I didn't mean to come across so abruptly. the Mayo Clinic website discusses the topic. After discussing injury of the tissues of the penis and what happens with injury of the blood holding tissue. They also say it occurs without any injury.

"In some men, Peyronie's disease comes on gradually and doesn't seem to be related to an injury. Researchers are investigating whether Peyronie's disease might be linked to an inherited trait or certain health conditions.

cooper80, I didn't take it as abrupt. It's frustrating how little is known about Peyronies. Maybe it's because guys who have it aren't making enough noise. There's progress being made on breast cancer, and I have no doubt that the ribbons and marches and bumper stickers are effective. How many guys are going to go public and yell, "my penis is bent!" ?

Just mentioned to me in passing, so not sure about all the particulars, but this was something where some slow-acting agent was placed into a butt-cheek (one of those minor out-patient procedures done in a doc's office) and the patient is supposed to be good-to-go for about six months.

After that, it's back to the doc for another go-round.  Anybody familiar with this one?  Sounds less messy than injections every time....

as I understand it, papavarene is a main ingredient in this mixture, and there is a national shortage of it.  We have not been able to get it at my hospital for almost 2 years.  Better ask your doc what's in it and the compounding pharmacy too.
