I can say that with a little common sense you can do this in the US for years with out issue as I have seen literally thousands of different women in this country without any problems with LE and I am hardly the most cautious person in the world, but I do use a bit of common sense.

I'm just wondering something. Is the same type of screening being practiced by escorts in countries where prostitution is legal? I would think that, because it's illegal in the United States, Escorts go through this involved screening process to keep the possibility of LE problems from materializing. I also understand the need to insure that whoever is coming to see you or who you are going to visit is not a wack job. I just don't remember this type of screening process when I was in foreign countries, most of them having legal prostitution. Do the escort agencies in the US have the same type of screening process as independent escorts?
Also, is it safer, LE wise, to have the escort come to your apartment or hotel room instead of your going to her residence or hotel room? If she is coming to your place, unless she's an undercover LE, there should be very little chance of any LE involvement I would think. Am I right on this?
It's purpose is also to protect her from someone who is unpleasant at best and dangerous at worst.
Other than asking for a reference which most gals there are reluctant to provide, it was just a totally different operation. I was in a flat with a friend and a couple other girls would all show up and work out of it for a bit, then leave. It was somewhat like a brothel, but it was a group of women all working together and looking out for each other. There was always another person there when the client arrived, so there is safety in numbers.

As for the incall/outcall issues... if the cops want you, they will get you. Makes no difference if it is in a hotel, at your house or in a freaking car, but by in large your hotel room that you just rented that day is going to be safer because how are they going to set up a sting? Stings are easy to spot btw. As long as you research the providers you're seeing before doing so, you should not have any issues.

I am trying to decide which place or places to go on an extended vacation. I'm open to anywhere including Shanghai. To tell you the truth, hobbying in the US is a risky business especially if you have family and business acquaintances. Do any of us realize what happens if you get arrested for procuring in this country? It only has to happen once and your life is basically ruined forever. Not to mention the legal costs.

I do understand and appreciate the info. I, too, have never had an issue in the US. But, have not done so in recent years. However, it only takes one time and you can kiss everything goodbye. I'm trying to decide if it is worth it to continue trying, when for $300 or so I can fly to Panama, stay in a nice apartment for $45 per day, and have thousands of girls available for $0 up to $200 for all night. My understanding if you are not really old, out of shape, and are pretty good looking, the girls will want to be with you regardless of price. Am not leaving until the end of May so I have time to figure this all out.
