So there's a meet and greet put on by one of the agencies. They are requesting $300 registration fee. So my question is, what do you get for $300? They also say they will have VIP rooms. Does that mean that you can pick a provider and go into one of the VIP rooms? Do you pay her just her regular rate?

You may be right, that's why I'd never attend a M&G... and yes I understand that defeats the overall purpose. Not to mention the folks who host in my area appear to be drama Queens and Kings.

And since you've never been to one-I highly doubt you'd get an invitation, how would you know if the hosts and hostesses are into drama?

However I never said I LIKED it... I do remembered, as that nonsense was fizziling out. Someone posted that the providers I saw should be retaliated against for associating with me. Those providers which I saw before anyone here had the conversation which you mentioned.

That everyone's recollection is not the same. Hell, you just admitted to not remembering some of the people in the conversation. The unfortunate thing for you is that the impression about you is what it is now from what people experienced that day and what they remember from that thread.

As xyz said, a true M&G is a cocktail party with an entry fee of no more than $100. This sounds like an out-and-out fuck party. And I agree I'd ask the agency throwing it what you get for your $300 in case it's a rip off.
offering a soiree situation, or whatever one calls it now where you get to have a go with some gal either one on one or orgy style.
I would avoid any large gathering where sex for pay is going on, even if behind closed doors. LE could easily infiltrate such a set up even with careful screening, and then you'd all get busted.
The M&Gs I've been too run about $50 for food (cash bar) and you get to chum around with fellow mongers and meet some cute babes who will be interested in seeing more of you, if you get my drift.

The one I am going to is $100 cover and is being hosted by a very reputable independent lady. So if that is enough to cover costs and give her something for her time, you can see how much that agency is ripping you off. I would not go at that price.
It was an amazing experience. I met an amazing woman that I will see many times. It's really cool to be able to talk to other people about the hobby. Nowhere else can I do that. And wow, I was like a kid in a candy store.
I would be soo embarrassed to meet someone I know in the civie world. A neighbor, co-worker, supervisor, friend..... Now it would be interesting if they showed up in the provider's group
