So I'm not sure what to do here. I've been looking at 2 providers in my area and I've noticed some odd things about their TER reviews and their websites.

1) Both have 4 reviews spanning just the past 2-3 months
2) Both share the same phone number
3) Both use photos which are available online as "stock" photos (these are on their P411 account and their website)

Now, giving them the benefit of the doubt they very well could be friends sharing a line/phone and maybe they both happen to be models who also signed releases to have their photos sold on popular stock photo sites.

I won't link to the providers in question for now as it's pretty easy to ascertain the identity of the model in one of the stock photos.

I guess my question is... is it common to use modeling photos (which are also available unblurred elsewhere) as advertisements

She is using a picture of a model that is clearly not her?

So she is using someone else's photo? By you mean "models," I am assuming it's a different person.

If that is the case, RUN AWAY!!

Also, rule of thumb, good to actually see what other reviews those reviewers left. If all 4 people only have 1 review, then it is super sketchy.

First off they are using the same picture? Which obviously isn't them?

And second, Dude.... if they are using the same number, IDC who you think you are, sounds like a pimp or agency.

Absolutly no reason to have the same number, let alone the same ads... and to top it off, the same pictures?

You are asking for a beating or to be robbed.

Her reviews are fake period. If they were honest, they would say her picture doesn't match.

are blurred on their P411 profile?Could be two ladies who are friends who share a phone# are the reviews by the same guys for both ladies? Is it common to use stock modeling photos in ads well...some say they do it for privacy reasons. My motto is use your own photos there are ways to conceal your face and still be the lady in the photo.IMO...if the pics are blurred on P411 but there are many that are unblurred online seems maybe they stole the pics and are using them.

Unless the ad or P411 profile says the pics are being used as a representation and are not of the actual provider then I would assume the lady in the pic is not who is going to show up.Do a google image/tineye search on the photos...I am sure you will have your answer.
Or you could always pm the reviewers and ask if they looked like their pics.

IMO, if you have to come up with an excuse on their behalf to give them the benefit of the doubt so as to rationalize a clearly "sketchy" situation, you're thinking with the wrong head
