Interesting scenario you conjured up to say the least. Thankfully this has not occurred, not to my knowledge anyway. To be honest, not sure what I would do if I ever received that call. Raising kids, or having to deal with them, is truly difficult--but it's not that hard! Anyone can do it. I for one, if I am wrong, don't want to error on the side of death and destruction. I've seen how wonderful "unwanted" kids can turn out, and could NEVER take that away from them. Doesn't really matter how hard it is for me.
Bottom line, I myself would have to take responsibility. Explaining what happened, and the resulting complications would be pretty tough for me, but the other option is not even an option.
In my opinion, there is no job as difficult as raising and taking care of young children. If you haven't done that all day every day, you have no idea what it is like. However, there is nothing more rewarding or satisfying as well. (At least, almost!
I would like to say amen. I full agree. I can no longer father children but back when I could I would work it out with the lady and rase my kid, with or without the mother if given a choice. I would provide 100% for the lady needs if needed to avoid the abortion option. I would also raise the child alone if need be but I would prefer both me and the mother in the picture. I don't think murdering the unborn is a choice I would ever advocate unless it was literally life or death for the mother.
